Not one..not one single one.. Hyacinth wanders through the area, her mind griping and complaining, her face showing nothing at all. She's horribly upset; all of those useless babies in the Field had nothing to offer. All they wanted was to play. Hyacinth is obviously far above that. She couldn't possibly care about any of that pitiful childlike behavior; she's a respectable Digimon for Goodness' sake! Yet.. she'd never admit that deep inside she longed to play with the others... she internally wishes that the others had invited her over, and she secretly feels jealous that she couldn't play "tag" with the others. But not a soul will ever hear that from her.
She walks slowly along what isn't meant to be a path, and she isn't walking either.. she's hopping, but she's going to call it walking, because only babies hop. Who do they think they are? Playing games while there are Digimon getting strong enough to kill them all? Those fools! At least they'll rot first she thinks before snickering. Her eyes harden again as she tries to forget about the others, because the remorse for leaving them all behind is coming back...
She's Hopping walking more quickly now as she tries to get rid of the "weak" emotions welling up, and she just Bounces marches on like the good little soldier she is. it's not like any of the others are strong enough to keep up with me. [/s] she tries to convince herself. She doesn't understand that she needs a friend, and she might not for a while. She doesn't have any desires to befriend any of them. Not one..not one single one..

He was certain that he should have digivolved by now. Most of the others that he had hatched with had. And the rest of them he wasn't sure of because they were no longer at the village. Whether that was because they had already moved on or he just didn't see them anymore, Adronis wasn't sure. But all it took was the thought that they had left the village that made the small Chibomon wonder if he had to do that in order to digivolve. It wouldn't have been so important for him to actually go through that sort of change, but he had to know what he was supposed to be. Surely he wasn't meant to be nothing more than a small fresh Digimon forever. None of the others stayed in their baby forms for too long.
With the desire to know how he came to be, what he was meant to be pushed him to ask questions of the older Digimon. Rookies, whom told him of adventures that were awaiting all of them outside of the village. He asked what exactly was out there, where he should end up being, to serve whatever purpose he was meant to fill. Nobody could tell him where he should be, though they could go on about what was out there, or some of it anyways. And he knew that if they had been out there, then there was no reason he couldn't take his own chances.
After having a bite to eat (or a few mouthfuls) he immediately set out to leave the village and find something else out there. He really didn't know what he would find, and that only made it all the more exciting. For all he knew, he'd run into a much wiser Digimon that knew everything that he was hoping to find out. But he didn't think that he'd get so lucky, at least not any time soon. Though he hadn't really been expecting to meet somebody else looking to get out either.
Spotting another small Digimon, Adronis immediately found himself wondering who it was and what they were doing out here. Oh he just had to find out! He just had to! And so he began to shout out to her, not even thinking that he could possibly wind up getting himself into a spot of trouble. "Hey! Hey you! Hi! I'm Adronis! Who are you? What are you doing out here?" Rather excited, he quickly bounced strode over to the other Digimon, smiling widely.

She turns. Hyacinth turns, and now she wishes she hadn't. Ugh.. another one of them.. she thinks, trying to convince herself that she doesn't care , even though she might.. she looks at the..boy? Girl? Whatever, it doesn't matter to her. Such a blue little creature he is, and Hyacinth wishes his annoying self could blue somewhere else, but alas.
She speaks to him, sounding as condescending as one possibly can without being rude. "Greetings. I am Cynthia, and I'm here because I wanted to get away from people like you." she says, puffing herself up, trying to appear like a larger creature.
With another serious tone, she speaks again. "State your business here, Adronis, or I'll be forced to show you mine." she says, staring the boy right in the eyes. She doesn't really wait for a reply as she begins Hopping walking along again, albeit more slowly than before. Giving him one last chance to prove himself worthy of her Time, she takes the energy to listen to him, but more importantly: she turns.

Adronis had, up to this point, met nothing but fairly nice Digimon, even if they did come off a bit defensive at first. But it was clear that this Digimon wasn't merely defending herself, but adding hostility to the words that she responded to him with. Cynthia, as the small Relemon called herself, obviously wasn't so keen on having friends tag along. Of course Adronis had to give her some credit. He really wasn't her friend. Not yet anyways, though he had been hoping to make his first friend. First because he was hoping to have quite a few, being a more positive and sociable Digimon than this other clearly was.
He honestly didn't know what to say in response, so rather than saying anything, he merely stopped from coming any closer. A little hurt that somebody would be so cruel as to say they were trying to get away from "people like him," Adronis frowned. If he had a full body, with arms and legs, he probably would have hunched a big and withdrew within himself. But all he could do in this form was frown and look away, eyes cast down toward the ground, wondering what he had done to bring on such a strong, negative reaction. The only thing he could think of was that he was much too loud, and possibly over the top in brightness. Obviously he had a lot to learn when it came to approaching other Digimon. Coming at them with such vibrant positivity seemed to be a bad idea.
When Cynthia spoke again, Adronis lifted his eyes, and he froze as hers stared right into his own, the tone in her voice clearly serious. But before he could even speak, she had already turned away and began hopping, no doubt to leave him behind. So he wasn't going to respond at first, though he did notice that she seemed to be going on at a bit of a slower pace than before. And the way she turned seemed to show that she was indeed waiting for a response from him.
"I want to find answers," he said. But that was much too short of a response, though he supposed if it didn't peek this Digimon's curiosity, then he really wouldn't be able to at all. "How did this world come to be? What am I meant for? How do I fit in? Who am I supposed to become?" Looking towards Cynthia, Adronis wondered if this was a good enough answer for the other Digimon to give him a pass. Of course, there was one other thing he wanted that he hadn't said. "And I want friends to help me find out."

She didn't get all that far before the little blob began to speak again, and, when he did, she froze, almost instantly. She didn't turn around, but she didn't move an inch. She merely listened to what he had to say. She didn't notice his reaction, so she felt no sympathy, and she doesn't realize that his voice is a bit more subdued than it was before.
Answers, he says. He wants to find answers. What a simpleton..does he think I'm a teacher or something? I don't have time for this.. she thinks as he goes on. He asked legitimate questions, questions that Hyacinth herself asked once or twice, but she doesn't mention that.
She looks at the little creature as she turns around slowly, her small yellow body and tail arranging themselves so that they are comfortable enough to stand the boy's ramblings. "How do I fit in" was his next question, and Hyacinth's first thought was, that he didn't. But after several moments of thought, she realizes that, in reality, it would be her who doesn't fit in right. It would be her who would end up as the outcast, but again, she doesn't voice that observation either..
His final question, "Who am I supposed to become?" was also one that Hyacinth jumped to an answer for. Obviously he's not meant to become anyone..with an attitude like that, he's practically a nobo--[/s] she thinks before cutting herself off. What is she thinking? This isn't her..this isn't how she would usually act. This isn't even mean, it's cruel. And, she realizes that if she ever acts like this, it will be her that ends up as the Nobody. She'll eventually end up as the one who has no purpose, if she doesn't allow anyone else to find their own..
She looks at the boy, actually listening now, as he finishes talking. "Friends" was the subject of his last sentence. Friends.. Hyacinth looks at the ground as she thinks. Friends..who needs friends? Friends are for nothing but fun..Fun..That's..it's what those others were having..wasn't it? she thinks as she looks into the boy's eyes now, her eyes dull and uninterested, though her heart is grasping for answers.
Hyacinth decides to speak, and she's going to do something she didn't expect to as she does. "Well then, small stuff, I'll be your friend. I'll be your first friend, if you'll have me?" she says, really attempting to be sincere. it's not like I Want to hurt his feelings. Besides, even if I'm not the truest friend in the world, he can help me if I need it..because there's always someone stronger to fight.. she thinks as she turns back around again.
"You coming or what?" she says as she begins marching hopping along, concealing her smile with her back as she moves. She can't let him know that all this time she'd been looking for a friend, because she's already hidden her true self from him, but maybe he'll be the one she lightens up with. Or maybe he'll be the first one she betrays.

It was very difficult to be certain what Cynthia was thinking. She did a good job at keeping a rather level look on her face, rather than expressing any particular emotion. Unless, of course, she was so completely uninterested in what he was saying that she wasn't even acknowledging it as something bad. But then that meant that the very thing Adronis was afraid of was actually coming to pass. And he didn't like that one little bit. When he had finished with his last statement, how he wanted to gain some friends, she looked down and appeared to be thinking. Obviously she had listened to everything he had said, and had at least found it interesting enough to think on it. But when she lifted her eyes up again, it seemed that she was again completely uninterested, and Adronis felt his heart sink within his very small body.
Ready to simply go his own separate way, Adronis made a small hop forward, but was suddenly stopped by what Cynthia said. She would be his friend? Seriously? Adronis beamed and nodded, his whole body moving up and down with his motion. "Yes!" he cried out, excited that she had actually agreed to be his friend. His very first friend, which made her so incredibly important to him. Didn't being his first friend make her the one that truly believes in him and wants to help him with everything that he wants to do? And in turn, he had to want to help her with what she wanted. Except she had claimed that she was only out here to get away from others like him, which couldn't be true if she was agreeing to be friends with him. Oh, now this was getting a little confusing for the Chibomon.
"You didn't really tell me what it is you're doing though." Adronis had to bounce a little faster in order to catch up with the other Digimon. Once by her side, he looked over toward her, so that he could actually see her as he spoke to her. "I mean, I know you said you're here because you wanted to get away from people like me but... well you're my friend now, right? So you can't really want to be getting away from people like me, 'cuz you like me." Boy was he a little clueless or what? He wasn't even worried about annoying his new friend, even though it had been clear just a tiny bit ago that she was perturbed by him.
"So why are you really out here? I mean... you're not Digivolved either, so there must be something really crucial for you." He was really curious about that. What was it that was pushing Cynthia so hard to get out into the wild? It was dangerous, as you didn't know what was out here. But at the same time, things were so new still that you probably didn't have too much to worry about. Maybe his purpose was to make a peaceful village away from their beginning! Oh wouldn't that be something?!

He accepted, and that's all that really mattered to Hyacinth. Sure, he was still asking questions, but at least now she wouldn't have to worry about traveling out in the wilderness alone, she wouldn't have to worry about facing the world on her own. Of course, she'd never admit that she's just a bit scared of what may be; but who would? Even the ones who are scared of everything wouldn't blatantly say that they were scared, would they? No, Hyacinth convinces herself that if she doesn't admit she's scared, then she isn't. Now, she has to address the questions being asked.
Of course he wants to know what she's doing, why wouldn't he? He's following around a little yellow puffball throughout the Digital World, a reason for such actions is to be expected of her. She glances at the little blue creature who has finally caught up to her. She doesn't smile, but she doesn't frown.. She was going to try answering, but he gives more details as to what he wants from her. She almost chuckles as he speaks, realizing that she may have accepted him as a friend too easily. He assumes that stating one is a friend makes them one, and yet she knows that such assumptions are very often wrong. She doesn't quite know how she knows, but she does, which is all she needs to understand.
He asks his question again, this time speaking of Digivolving, wondering what could have been so urgent that she go out into the wild so early in her life. Hyacinth herself wonders for a bit as she keeps going, always staying maybe half a step in front of him, never quite slowing down enough to be equal in pace with him. She begins to speak, her mind processing everything she is saying, as she says it.
"You know..first of all, I want you to understand something..Not everyone is to be trusted. Don't always assume that because someone pretends to be your friend, that they are. For some reason..I know that such statements aren't always true."
"Second of all, I'm out here..because I want to grow stronger. I could never have possibly grown much in strength back with all the other babies, so I came out here. Perhaps you can help me with my goal..because, admittedly, I'm not all that much more strong that you. But that will make all the difference, won't it?"
She finishes speaking with the hint of a smile, but she tries not to show it. Why is the little boy making her smile? It can't possibly be that she's enjoying herself, right? No..that's not it. But, truth be told, she'd just admitted that she wasn't as good as someone else, so that's a start. She knows deep down in her heart, that she's just like the rest, and she knows in her soul that the others are just as equal as any other Digimon, but she can't believe it; she needs to think that strength is everything, and perhaps that's merely how her mind works. Regardless, she's opened up, just a bit, to the little blue ball of..thing, who has decided to follow her.
Then, as Hyacinth continues moving forward, something rustles in a bush near her. What was that? She thinks as she quickly turns to the origin of the noise, her body quickly turning to the same direction. Then, suddenly, out of the bushes flies something neither of the two of them are prepared to face.
Out pops a shadowie figure that can eventually be indentified as a Wormmon. Admittedly, not the scariest creature on the block, but still much stronger than the both of them. What can they possibly do? The bug looks mad, and he doesn't seem ready to negotiate anything out. Hyacinth can just barely remember a minomon leaving the village just before she did, and it looks like he's now digivolved.
"You think we can fight it?" she asks as she watches the creature closely. He fires a Sticky Web at the both of them. "Mooove!" she shouts as she bounces out of the way. She waits for a response before trying anything, but it looks like the Worm creature will soon be attacking again, and the both of them will need to do some quick thinking if they plan to escape.
Wormmon, Rookie Level Attacked with a Sticky Web!
(OOC: I won't always be doing this, but I did because..I wanted to X3 Watch out for that rabid NPC!)

Maybe Adronis was a little naive, or actually really naive, thinking that just saying they were friends made them so. But he didn't understand why you would say that you're one thing, when you don't truly consider yourself that way at all. What was the point in lying about what you were? Maybe that was something that Adronis needed to discover, yet another thing that he needed an answer to. And was he supposed to be pretending to be something he wasn't as well, merely playing a game to further some kind of agenda? If he wasn't really friends with Cynthia, then what was the reason for claiming so? Obviously, for him, it was so that she would help him find the answers he was looking for. But he thought that she was doing that because they were friends. Could it be that she was doing that for the same reason he wanted to know what she wanted? So that they would both have value in each other and not do anything to jeopardize their futures? He really hoped that that's not why he was doing this.
"Okay, so not everybody is truly your friend just because they say so. But you don't really seem to be the type to lie." Was that the point that she was trying to make? You couldn't believe people just because they said something, even if they seemed to be honest when they claimed whatever it is they were trying to get you to believe. Cynthia didn't seem to have experience in this, though, as she did say that she somehow knew this to be true. "And maybe I shouldn't trust everybody, but I do want to trust you at least. You're the first Digimon I've met that's the least bit interesting to be honest." Back at the village, that SnowBotamon or whatever he was seemed a bit much, and then the other thing... meh.
The next part made a lot more sense to him. Power seemed to be something that a lot of Digimon craved, even at the fresh stage. He personally wasn't concerned about power so much as finding out what he was supposed to become. If that meant going no further than being a rookie, then he would deal with that. Granted, he did kind of hope to at least make it to champion form, if only to be able to feel a bit more sure of himself and his protection. "Well I can try to help push you in that then." He didn't really know what more to say, what more he could do to help her. That was what she wanted though? It wasn't as if he could somehow magically make her digivolve.
As they continued walking, there was the sound of a rustling within a bush, and Adronis looked towards it, wondering what it was. He shouldn't have stepped toward it, but he did, and another Digimon popped out at him. Clearly something had happened that pissed the Digimon off, because he was mad, and he didn't even wait. Just as Cynthia asked Adronis if he thought they could take him, seeming to have noticed the Wormmon's mood as well, it shouted its attack, Sticky Web. She didn't have to yell for him to move, he had already bounced out of the way and turned to fight. That was when it happened. He couldn't say what exactly, just something clicked within him and he felt this energy come up... "Chibomon digivolve to... Nyaromon!"
He was in his In-Training form now, and Adronis felt quite a bit stronger. Still, Wormmon was clearly more experienced, having already digivolved to his rookie level. There was no way Adronis could take this Digimon on his own. "Fox Tail!" he called out, whipping his tail around and forward, trying to smash it in Wormmon's face.

She wanted to say something to the boy about what he had to say, like how he thought that she was telling the truth, and how he wants to trust her. She wanted to tell him to be careful, because she cares for him, but that wouldn't fit the mask she's put up. Besides, she has more to deal with at the moment. She almost breathed out a sigh of relief as the boy bounced out of the way of danger, but she didn't.
Then, something happened. What was happening to the blue blob? No. It couldn't be! And it had happened: He'd digivolved. Of course, the first Digivolution wasn't really all that impressive, but, what surprised Hyacinth was the fact that he beat her to the chase. He had actually become stronger than her, and right after she had mentioned that she wanted to get stronger than the others. What a disaster.
She kept a cool face as she tried to decide what to do. Then, the boy attacked, and the Wormmon made its first noise: a hiss of sorts. Then it spoke after being hit by the tail of the now yellow feline creature. "You really think you can defeat me? Jusssst give up and I'll kill you both sssslowly!" he shouted as he proceeded to launch a Silk Thread at the both of them. Should the attack hit, it will be like being hit with a string filled with splinters, and it would also have the capabilities of trapping the both of them in the thread, preventing one from helping the other.
Hyacinth moved quickly out of the way of the first batch of threads, dodging it with ease, but a second wave of the stuff was flying at her, and she just barely dodged it, her tail getting slightly hit by the pointed thread. She didn't say anything, but her face quickly made a grimace that made it obvious she was in pain.
Luckily, the pain was fleeting as she landed once again on the ground, and she was beginning to be frustrated with herself. She should have at least begun to Digivolve by now, and yet, nothing had happened. Then, as if her frustration caused the chain reaction, her body glows slightly as her body is transfigured, and before she could move, she had Digivolved into a Viximon.
A mischievous smile sparks on her face as she looks to the boy. "Ready?" she says as she prepares to start a counterattack. She motions to the side with her tail at the boy, trying to get him to attack from a different side than she is as she runs at the Wormmon. The Wormmon hisses and begins to attack again, but before he can, Hyacinth has transformed into..a rock? Yes, now she's become a rock, and the threads are merely flying into her like nothing is happening. The Wormmon is obviously confused, and before he can react with a more physical attack, Hyacinth launches a cloud of poisonous gas out of the front of her "body", aimed right at the insectesoid.
The Wormmon dodges the attack by turning around and moving the other way. Hyacinth will take a moment to get out of this form, so she can only hope that the now feline creature has taken advantage of Wormmon's time of vulnerability.

It was scary to think that he might be the only one to digivolve for this fight, and yet it seemed like that was a possibility. The Wormmon hissed at them, telling them that if they gave up the fight, he'd kill them slowly. Adronis might be new to this world, and had absolutely no experience in battling, but he was fairly certain that that wasn't a good trade. Unfortunately, it also seemed that he wasn't going to be enough to defeat this threat, and he looked toward Cynthia for some kind of support. He wanted to call out to her to digivolve, but he knew that if she could have, she would have by this point. Obviously she just hadn't reached that point yet, and saying something about it would probably only make matters worse for her. The irony was clear even to Adronis, how he had digivolved quickly while she was the one wanting to grow stronger.
Wishing that there was more he could do, but realizing that there probably wasn't, Adronis wondered if he should change tactics. Instead of going on the offensive for a defensive strategy, maybe he should be trying to work something out to temporarily disengage from Wormmon for an escape. There was the possibility of the two of them splitting his attention, both going separate ways and trying to outrun the spitting Wormmon. But Adronis wasn't quite ready to give up his companion and leave her on her own to deal with this stronger Digimon. And who knows what had happened to him to make him so damn angry? For all Adronis knew, the same thing could happen to Cynthia and turn her into a furious being ready to strike out at anything that happened to pass by.
Suddenly, Cynthia glowed, and changed shape, also finally digivolving into her in-training form. This would definitely help. It was possible that they might be able to over power the other Digimon together and at least be able to escape this whole ordeal all the better. But they would have to work together, something that Adronis wasn't entirely sure on how to do. Luckily, it seemed that Cynthia had an idea at least, motioning at him with her own tail, and he nodded, thinking that he understood what she was getting at. As she ran toward Wormmon, whom shot another web toward her, he charged forward again, springing and whirling in the air to slam his tail against the bug yet again. Still, it wasn't like it was an amazingly powerful attack, and the green Digimon merely hissed, turning around to face him as Cynthia was now a rock.
A little panicked, Adronis did his best to get away from the Wormmon, but was hit by the stinging threads anyhow. He gave a great cry, the threads hurting him enough that it slowed him down. Eyes immediately darting to his enemy, he saw the other Digimon coming at him, his mouth moving and saying something about eating up a little fur ball. Panicked, Adronis thrust himself forward and up, spinning like a tire in the air, tail tucked close to him. He passed over the Wormmon, and as he did, he snapped his tail forward, slamming it right between the antennae ear things that the Wormmon had. Landing, he began to look for Cynthia. "We need to get out of here!" he cried out, sure that she was well aware of that herself. But he didn't know how the Wormmon was holding up either. For all he knew, the angry Digimon was actually pretty close to defeat himself.

Beverly made her rounds back to this area. She had done a fair bit of travel so far, although it wasn't like she made it to the wilderness. In any case, here she was again, for no reason other to make herself feel better. Watching the children play was soothing. They probably weren't held down by foggy memories like she was.
No matter how hard she tried to ignore them, those memories bothered her. The vagueness, the monotony... even not remembering her own name was getting to her now.
The Zurumon would, once more, not play with the others. Maybe she was never in that mood? Whatever it was, it seemed that now the playful other babies weren't soothing her this time.
She would leave and wander around. Something... anything to take her mind off things. It was this point the goo digimon saw two other digimon in the distance. Perhaps she would spy on them... they seemed to be busy, chatting with each other. They looked rather chummy to the unaware Beverly, having came at the tail end of the conversation and hearing nothing they would have said. Just as she went to hiding, though, a dangerous Wormon appeared! This might be exciting, or at least that was the thought that went through her head as she crept closer to the fight.
And during her eavesdropping, one of them digivolved! Nay, two of them! That was remarkable! Perhaps their danger and their bond of friendship enabled them to take up a new stage! Perhaps that mean old Wormon would meet his match!
Inadvertently, in getting a better view of the situation, she revealed herself, slowly slithering out of the bushes she, a moment ago, tried to hide in. She did not intend to get into the fight... no, 3 on 1 was unfair in this case. No, this was more enjoyable to watch... and perhaps enlightening...

Hyacinth watches as the boy succeeds in reading her motioning, attacking the Wormmon effectively before eventually getting to her after getting hit by an attack. He's right she thinks, hearing his exclamation. But..she doesn't think they'll have the speed to escape. After all, he's a rookie, and there are so few In-Training Digimon capable of outrunning a Rookie..
She thinks for a moment as she tries to leave her stone form, which is taking a while to do.. and, finally, her legs sprout. My, my, how embarrassing it must be for her to run while her torso is still made of rock, but she doesn't want to stop and see the alternative. Of course, she's running, but she knows that the inevetible will come. Eventually, the both of them will either run out of running ability, or the Wormmon will just plain catch up.
Then, out of the corner of her now organic eye, she spots a Digimon. "Hey! You there! Please, help us! Lend us your strength!' she shouts to the creature before turning to face the Wormmon, who is finally beginning its charge at the three.
"You fools! I gave you the chance! Now, time for you all to DIE!" it hisses as it moves forward, sending dozens of Poisonous Needles at the trio.
"We've got to work together!" Hycinth yells as she returns to her rock form, taking the hits with ease. Her tail, which remained untransformed is now currently trying to get the other's attention. What is it pointing at, one might wonder? Well, nothing but the dangling branch right above where the Wormmon stands! If that branch falls, it will at the very least give the three a chance to escape.
Hyacinth tries to expell another wave of gas, but if seems she needs to be in her full form to do so, so she merely sits there, waiting for someone to do something.
Meanwhile, the Wormmon is launching another blast of sticky web, which will entangle anything touches. Hopefully, the others catch on in time, or else, the three of them might forever regret having gone into the Wilds..

It never crossed his mind that they wouldn't be able to outrun the rookie Digimon, but as Adronis began bouncing, he came to the conclusion that he was definitely screwed out. Out of him and Cynthia, she was definitely the fastest, which meant that if they were to just try to escape, he'd be the one left behind. Not that he would have been able to blame his companion for ditching him in order to save herself. While he thought that they were friends, even he had to admit that they didn't know each other for very long. And if their roles were reversed, Adronis wasn't entirely sure he'd be able to justify fighting for her to himself for very long. Especially when he was the type to believe that they all had their own destinies, and it was up to them to follow their own, no matter what.
Adronis hadn't even noticed the other Digimon like Cynthia had, but hearing her, he immediately cast his gaze over toward him. "Yes, please! We might actually stand a chance if you were to help us too!" Three definitely sounded better than two, and even if the other one was rather... slimy (therefore assumed to be another fresh...) it could be useful in taking this Wormmon out. It wasn't as if Adronis knew what kind of special attack the Zurumon might have. For all he knew, it was some kind of paralyzing spit, almost like his own fresh form's bubble blow but with a bit more punch to it. Hearing the Wormmon yelling angrily behind him only made him hope that the other Digimon was quite capable at helping them get out of this sticky situation. Especially as Cynthia went back to her rock form, taking all of the poison barbs, which saved Adronis from getting hit.
Knowing that he was the closest one to the Wormmon, and wanting to prove to the other Digimon that everything would be okay if they worked as a team, Adronis began to make his way toward the angry bug monster as quick as he could. Just as he jumped as high as he could, Wormmon unleashed another Sticky Web, and Adronis knew that he was about to get it. As the net hit him, it also seemed to wrap around him, and he landed harmlessly ten feet away from the nasty rookie. Trying to get out of the net was hopeless, and he began to panic as Wormmon began laughing, saying that he had already gotten one of them wrapped up. Fear swept over the small Digimon with a tail, and he closed his eyes, suddenly wishing that he hadn't left the protection of the village.

"Wha, me?" Her plan to remain hidden was, shall we say, shot. Everyone saw her, making the Zurumon realize her curiosity had caused her to creep out into sight. Awkward as it was, it turned to danger as a number of poison barbs were shot out at the three of them. Narrowly dodging them, Bev saw one of them point to a branch briefly. But Bev was scared.
But only for a moment. This was her first fight. Perhaps it was her past as being nothing more than cannon fodder, sent out to attack under orders, having to push aside any objections. But there was simply no time to be cowardly. No, she wasn't going to allow herself to die again. She just came back and still felt she had things to do. And with this feeling, a power welled up within her.
Her body also began to glow, and her form expanded. Once she finished, she realized she had digivolved! And in time too, as the other in trainings were not in a good position to fight back. And while there was the tree branch, Bev was the farthest from the wormon, and had to get close to it. Unfortunately she had no arracks that would hit from here. Unless...
"Fine, fine, I'm helping!" Bev quickly, and bravely, bounced towards the wormon, grabbing a rock with one of her ears. She yelled out "Poison Bubbles!", inhaling and lowing out a stream of... poison bubbles, hoping to poison or daze the attacker. Then, with all the strength she could muster, it threw the rock mid hop at the tree. Beating this guy would be too risky, given the situation. But she knew they had to run, and hoped this all worked well.

Hyacinth begins trying to go back into her normal..less solid form as she realizes that she'll at least have some help from the zurumon, who seems more thrown into the battle than volunteering for it. No matter, it seems that the shock, or stress, or whatever, has caused her to Digivolve. That's good.. Hyacinth thinks as her body slowly begins to make itself look more body like.
Hyacinth almost flinched when the boy tried another attack, only to be caught in the sticky web of the Wormmon's attack himself. So..one added..and one down..equal shift in numbers..yet not an equal playing field..yet. she thinks as her body is now fully capable of movement. Luckily, it seems that Hyacinth is a bid faster than the other two, despite speed not having much to do in battles like this. She forces as much of her energy into her tail and forces herself into the air with the combined power of her legs and her tail, giving her extra lift, and just in time too, because, had she not done that, she would've been trapped in another web that she hadn't noticed was approaching.
She didn't have time to hope that the Pagumon had avoided the attack, she just had to get to the branch, and, there it was, within reach. I've got to.. she urges herself as she forces as much of her power as she can into her tail once more, this time causing her tail to slightly, and only slightly, glow. The tail allows the little Viximon to force herself towards the branch, knocking it down of of the tree, and..not directly onto the Wormmon.
It..missed? she thinks, exasperated as she falls back to the ground. No, it hadn't missed, it just hadn't hit the target in the right spot. Right now, Wormmon was trapped, just not from the head down, but rather by the tail. That'll have to do.. she thinks as she lands near the boy Digimon, as she uses her teeth to rip the threads. It's horribly bitter, but she can't let an asset die so easily. That's why she's helping him..right? Yeah..that's gotta be it..
After a large enough hole is made, she turns, and there's Wormmon, who's somehow managed to point himself at the both of Hyacinth and the boy. "No.." she says quietly as the Wormmon readies what could be an ending blow. Then, the hissing begins to louden, but not because of fury--it's because of pain.
A small cloud of poisonous bubbles have just hit the Worm Digimon, and it can't stand the burning pain. "Yes..now's our chance." she says, almost unenthusiastically.
She runs to the other Digimon and begins running, hoping that the Wormmon can't escape the branch anytime soon. She hopes the others are following, but it's taking too much energy to run, let alone turn and run at the same time. She just keeps going, and going..and eventually she runs out of energy and collapses on the ground, her eyes planted firmly on the sky. I won't give up..I won't give up.. she thinks as her eyes slowly involuntarily close, and her mind drifts off into a slumber..
