Currently unable to do more than watch, Adronis could feel himself only becoming more and more panicked, as the rock completely missed the branch. Not that he could really expect the other small Digimon to actually strike the branch out of the tree lie that. Still, it was a little disheartening to know that the one really good chance they had completely went nowhere for them. Luckily, Cynthia seemed to have finally gotten out of her rock form, although the Wormmon was already trying to attack her. How she managed to not get hit was beyond Adronis, though he wasn't even aware that she hadn't been tangled up by the web. It wasn't until he heard the branch cracking and then falling that he knew she had successfully hit it. And when it pinned the other Digimon, he let out a sigh of relief.
Feeling the threads being torn away from him, Adronis jumped up and and turned. "Thanks!" he said, relieved, though only momentarily as Cynthia seemed worried about what was about to happen. When he turned, he could see that Wormmon was ready to make another attack, and he felt dread, but only for a few moments. The other Digimon, the Pagumon, had released Poison Bubbles, which hit the insect Digimon, causing him to hiss in great pain. Cynthia didn't even have to say it for Adronis to know that this was their chance to finally make an escape. He turned with her and began to hop as fast as he could, though it wasn't anywhere near as quickly as Cynthia was going. If there was only some way for him to grow legs... but he couldn't digivolve again quite yet. Not when he was this tired, and now so incredibly hungry as well.
He saw Cynthia collapse, and he bounced harder, forcing himself to push himself further, faster, until he reached her side. Looking toward the other Digimon, he exhaled softly, glad to see that the Wormmon didn't seem to be following them. No doubt he figured that the three of them working as a team could very well lead to trouble for him. "It looks like she passed out," he said, frowning slightly. "And I'm tired too. Thank you for your help. I think I'm going to stay here with her, but you can go." Sighing, Adronis closed his eyes, feeling safe enough to get some sleep before trying to find food. Food and water. They would come later.
