Rainy Birthday

    Poi could feel the drops of water hitting the protective cocoon in which she slept, her body slowly fading together from bits of data, she murmured to herself, wondering what the day would be like, would it be a loud or quite one, she often made such guesses based on if any of those around her hatched. Such eager bees ready to go into the harsh world and get slaughtered, only to end up right back where they started.

    She wasn't sure what made her feel that way, but she personally would prefer to stay safe and sleep forever without anyone bothering her. It was all such a pain, why even bother? Meaningless struggles for control of a life that they themselves don't truly have the ability to comprehend.

    "I'd rather not even bother, poipoi!" She exclaimed, however she suddenly felt a tiny bit of something new, light. Well, was it new or just refreshed? She yawned as she felt her body exist and suddenly she was alive. "I said I'd rather'nt not bother!" She said in a huff. She sighed and looked around, thankfully she had a small leaf like umbrella protecting her from the weather. She took a deep breath and blew a few bubbles before yawning again and falling asleep.

It's not that different really, just a bigger bed to sleep in now.
