Cobra

PERSONALITY

Cobra was an adventurous and happy young digimon who was wildly popular with the others around his age. Bravery and courage where his best attribute many would say, he stuck up for his friends against older digimon and often took a beating or two but that didn't stop him for doing it again. However this changed when a certain incident took place. He lost his eye when proving his bravery by climbing a rocky hill, when he fell and caught his eye on a sharp rock. When he became conscious he realised that his eye was lost and was told that a hideous scar was now in it's place.


When he went to see his friends they were all cold and mean to him, he was now an outsider when he was once one of the most popular younglings around. Filled with sadness and angry, he kept to himself and ignored the taunts and jokes that were aimed at him, Cobra One-Eye was a nickname they all called him and he resented it. He dreamed that his name would one day be Cobra The Great or another heroic name, but alas he was stuck with this one. After a day or two he realised that the newborns were scared of him because of his appearance, he soon became a bully. Filled with rage, greed and ambition he developed a small following, people who were afraid of him, people who wanted to be close to him so they didn't hurt him. He soon realised that followers were better than friends because they would never leave, those who you control would never leave...    

HISTORY

When Cobra hatched he had memories of a brightlight and thunderous applause, he didn't know what it meant, was it past life or prophecy? Cobra believed this to be his destiny, that he would be a great hero revered throughout the world. This gave him great confidence and inner strength, allowing him to excel as one of the most prominent members of the community. His confidence knew no bounds and his fear was non-existent. He made lots of friends with ease as he stuck up to the older ones and the bullies. Then one day he was told to prove his bravery by one of the older digimon and without hesitation he did so. The challenge was to sneak off and climb a rocky hill. Upon making it half way he started to become tired and fatigued. He fell a long way and lost his eye on the way down, then things began to change for Cobra.

When he regain consciousness he was told he had lost his eye and that a scar was now in its place, he realised how horrid it was after looking at his reflection in the water. His friends had now abandoned him, their only communication with him now was for ridicule. They had become the digimon he tried to protect them from. He kept his rage and sadness to himself and stayed away from the others, often finding a quite place for him to cry away from the others. His destiny was over already, he had nothing to live for anymore. There was nothing worse than being ordinary and that's what he was now. His feelings started to change once he realised the newborn's were scared of him because of his looks. Once they had heard rumours that he was once brave and fearless, some began to follow him, the others he bullied until they followed him. He soon realised that having followers was better than having friends. With his ambition, he interpreted his vision differently, the applause was from his followers but he would not be a great hero...
