Physical Description: Standing at over 2 meters, this monstrosity is quite large. Weighing in at 104.3 kg, again, he is quite large. This large lump of flesh is not fat at all. Quite the contrary,, his muscles are honed to the limits of physical perfection. All those years ago when he was still alive, he was a barbarian war lord. His very life was exercise, and it shows on his ripped torso legs and arms. Some more side effects of his wild past are the numerous scars that riddle his body. Luckily for him, his skin is dead and after numerous regenerations, is now a charred black/ dark gray color, so the scars are barely noticeable.
His face is contorted and ruined from the strike that sent him to the underworld. A strike from a war axe to the face is never pretty, but man, is it grotesque. The man who summoned him didn't like it, so he found a mask and used metal spikes to hold it on. Now King's face is effectively a white bony looking mask. His hair is unkempt and thick. It is dark black and sticks straight up from under his mask. His eyes are naturally blue, but his eyes empty and soul less. They glow bright green from within his skull where the dark magic that keeps him alive resides. Due to his mask, he appears to be constantly smiling, but he is not. In fact, his mouth doesn't even exist, it was knocked clean off by the axe. Luckily for him, the mask is fleshy and malleable which allows him to move the mouth as if part of his body when he speaks.
Clothing: King's clothing is quite simple. He wears a white harlequin mask with white tendrils hanging back over his head. Beneath the right eye are some black markings on the mask. Over his body he wears a large red wispy cloak. It has many layers and are torn up near the ends of the cloak. This cloak is large and envelopes his whole body. It is maroon/reddish in color. On his hands King wears gloves of similar color, but have no finger tips. Underneath his cloak he wears no shirts, but he does have what appears to be a pair of simple black gym shorts. He doesn't often show his body, but when he does, he can't very well be exposing himself. That would be silly. Under the cloak, going across his chest is a sheathe for his Great Knife. The opening hangs down with two clasps to hold the blade in. By unclasping the opening, gravity helps him draw the blade quicker as it slides down from behind his back. King wears no shoes. Personality As one might expect from a zombie, there's not much going on up in that big ol' masked head of his. Though, being a barbarian and all, he didn't have very many emotions to begin with(mostly just rage). King was fairly smart though. He was either calm or mad, and during both he was able to make rational decisions. Even now with out a soul, he does tend to get quite angry, but he doesn't let his emotions effect his decisions. He was a leader in his time, and making the wrong decision meant death, not only for him, but his people. Now that he doesn't have people relying on him though, he tends to make decisions that benefit him the most. He could care less if his actions caused hundreds of innocent people to die. If he gets a reward out of it, he is quite satisfied.
King is VERY greedy. During his time, he amassed enough treasure to feed his village for a thousand years, but that's not what happened. He just continued to amass it and keep it for himself, which caused his eventual downfall. Not because his people hated him, but because of a stupid incident that occurred. In current times, he wants money more than ever. He won't be saving it as well though, because there are soooo many things he wants to buy. Everything he sees now is incredible. Though, being locked in a crypt for 500 years does tend to shelter you from the happenings of the outside world.
King doesn't quite realize how terrifying he looks. He's a zombie with dark gray skin and a fiendish mask. He is massive in stature and wields a large blade. For whatever reason, he just can't make the connection that monster = scary. This coupled with his blunt/rude manner of speaking makes him quite an intimidating person to be around. Needless to say, he doesn't make friends very often(not that he could being in the crypt and all). Generally when he meets someone for the first time, he will introduce himself as King and order them to get out of his way. He has no intentions of sitting and talking, if you get in his way, your likely to get bumped, shoved maimed or diced in the process. Modern laws mean nothing to him as he has no knowledge of said laws, so be careful when he whips out his sword. It ISN'T for intimidation.
History The lord of the barbarians, King was a man to be feared. He lead with an iron fist and logical strategies. Despite his natural rage from being a barbarian, he was able to hold in his violent actions and lead intelligently. Sadly, this life was short lived. King was a greedy man and amassed an unimaginable wealth during his lifetime but this turned out to be his only weakness. His brother was an idiot and while practicing his axe skills in King's throne room, he slipped on some gold coins smashing his brother's face right open. This was an instant death blow. Blood sprayed everywhere and coated his entire family who was present. Sadly, this amounted to his brother taking the throne. Barbarian laws....or lack of laws basically equated to killing the King gains you power.
His brother effectively ran the kingdom into the ground and the entire race died out. King lived on in legends as the greatest of the warlords and it is through these legends that he was chosen. 200 years after his death, a powerful necromancer was in power of the region. He ruled in wicked ways and amassed quite a few minions. But they were not powerful enough. In his final years, he was growing weak and needed to pass on his magic, but no one in his generation was capable. He went to a fortune teller and she predicted that in the future, a young mage suitable for the magic would find it. To ensure that this would happen, the necromancer needed a guardian to forever protect his dark tome. He erected a large crypt for himself, and deep in the winding narrow passages he hid the book.
The powerful minion he sought was King, whom he resurrected and left in the crypt. For 500 years he guarded the book, assaulting any who tried to steal from the catacomb. There were numerous treasures in the labyrinth and all were under his guard. Only one item was allowed to be taken, as it appeared to have no value. It was the necromancers tomb which he had disguised as a moldy old book sitting in a large library hidden away. He was to allow someone who chose that book out of all the treasures to take it and leave with their lives, and once this this task was complete he was allowed to rest in peace.
King had other plans. He had spent 500 years doing nothing but wandering a musty tomb, guarding old treasures and talking to no one. He was quite bored. He let most of the treasures be stolen and no one seemed to want the book, until finally, a young man wielding a demonic sword came. He asked about the book, and King willingly explained that it was actually a very valuable magic tomb. Enticed, the man took the book, leaving behind his sword and previous magic powers in order to become a necromancer. King, having no further tasks had 2 options. Keep living and do what he wants, or lay down and move on to the after life. Who in their right mind would want to die? King sure didn't so he set off with the young man for an adventure.

The Great Knife Posted Image Rank: D Description: The Great Knife is more of a metal club with a sharp edge than a knife. Measuring 1.4 meters in length(22 cm long handle) and weighing in at 29 Kg, it is a knife fit for a giant.(for us humans it's just a big ass sword)
Endless Garb Rank: D Description: The Endless Garb is a large multi-layered red cloak with a matching pair of gloves. It is blood red/maroon in color and encases his whole body, leaving only his head visible. There is ample space to move inside and he is able to reach outside of the cloak quite easily. There is a hood but he doesn't generally wear it. It is made of a thin red cloth that is light and somewhat water resistant.

Effect/Function: Ability One: Able to hide face completely in darkness and 'transmorph' the voice. The voice is transmorphed by a slight enchantment within the hood, and changes the user's speaking to the given voice sample and darkness that covers the face. This effect keeps running until the hood is removed.
Ability Two: Making the wearer into a certain length of 6 feet to be ultimately anonymous. This is an illusion effect from an enchantment on the robe, they do not resize their bodies physically. This illusion stays active, untill the cowl is removed
Ability Three: Able to make the mantle disappear and appear at will with magic. There is a 3 post cooldown between appearing and disappearing of the mantle. The user may choose to not have it on at the start of the topic or have it equipped.

Skills & Disciplines: Barbarian Swordsman - King reigned over the barbarian tribes as the greatest swordsman in the land. Sadly, "great" swordsmanship was deemed as swinging the sword harder than anyone else. There were no technical aspects to swordplay, it was about who could close the distance and swing the sword harder and quicker than anyone else. In this aspect, King used to excel. Now that his body has decayed, he is working up to it.
Magic Name: Undead Frenzy Magic Type: Lifeless Shenanigans Tier of Magic: 1 Rank: 1 Magic Description: King's very life is a form of powerful necromancy. It has kept his body moving for far too long. His powerful life energy is capable of restoring the decrepit body at varying degrees from cuts and bruises to full limbs at higher levels. It also allows him to occasionally surpass his bodily limits. With no living tissue, it is the power of his magic that moves it. If he consumes more of his magic power he is able to surpass the bodies limits. These are just to keep his body from snuffing out on him, the main aspect of his magic is the lack of a soul. With no soul, he is like a void in the world of the living. He sucks in the warmth of life and converts it into magic to keep him alive. For small, weak life forms such as bacteria and up to small plants like grass and such, they die in his presence. For creatures with greater life force, he can concentrate his life draining capabilities to weaken them. The final and most advanced application of his magic is illusions. By sucking in the souls of the dead, he can convert them into his magic and mold them to his image. He can then emit these converted souls as images or illusions of himself. Because they are bodies of magic energy, they dissipate quickly.

Temperatures have less severe effects on his body and disease and poisons even less so. That is not to say he is completely immune, his body still suffers from damage caused by diseases poisons and temperatures, and this requires his magic life energy to heal, but the effects aren't as detrimental. Because his body is lifeless, his body has no natural regeneration. Using his magic life energy, he passively keeps his body "healthy". If he were to get injured, he is able to concentrate this magic energy into the effected areas increasing regeneration dramatically, or even healing the area completely. Appearance Physical Description: Jeb is a rather plain fellow. His height and weight are nothing spectacular on either end of the spectrum. He’s got fair blonde hair, and blue eyes that almost border on purple with their dark hue. His body is somewhat lean, with a slight undertone of muscle, and his skin is rather typical of a white male, if not a little pale. The one thing slightly different about his appearance from anyone is his his youthful face. He isn’t quite baby faced, but his face does have some childlike qualities that make him look young. For most this wouldn’t be a problem, but for a pirate, it’s rather unusual. His body has no unusual instances such as scars or tattoos, which is another thing a bit odd for pirates, but this is simply caused by his choice in clothing, and lack of interest in skin related ink.
Clothing: Due to the harsh, cold winds of his homeland, Jeb keeps his body almost entirely covered. Starting from the top, Jeb wears a large brimmed pirate hat, that is a dark grey, almost black. The hat itself is devoid of markings. Just below, enveloping 80% of Jeb’s head is his skull mask. Only his left eye, and a small fraction of his head remains uncovered. He uses this gap to allow for easier sight. Wrapped securely around his neck is a scarf, that while a tad frilly, offers warmth. Covering almost the entirety of his body is a large, dark grey overcoat. It is made of a thick woven material that is mildly water resistant. Water resistance of some sort is vital with all of his cloths. Underneath this is a thick woolen dress shirt that offers another layer of protection and warmth. Covering his legs is a pair of dark pants made of a similar material to his jacket. Holding these up is a brown leather belt with a plain, silver buckle. Underneath these thick pants are a pair of woolen long johns. The final article of clothing, covering his feet, are a thick pair of boots that are dark brown.

Personality Typically, Jeb has a calm, analytic demeanor about him. He thinks things through, and can be slow to take action while planning things. He is a born tactician so to speak, as he’d rather think of a 100% win strategy than recklessly charge in and hope for the best. This is just what is visible on the outside though, as the inside of his head is a battlefield of opposing choices or courses of action. He isn’t actually the cool, collected thinker that he leads people to believe. He is actually quite the emotional fellow, getting aggravated at the slightest of grievances against him. These ‘grievances’ set his mind into a flurry as he quickly thinks of the best course of action. He usually ends up at passive aggressive behavior, or baseless threats to intimidate people without him actually having to do anything since they are the easiest to pull off. Other times, he will be pushed to his limit and snap, and the only perceivable option in his mind is to attack.
The above defines his typical mindset when he is in battle, or planning for one, or at least stressed out, but he is not always such a stuck up person. Hell, the only reason he typically acts like that is because he is so used to always planning the next thing he does in life. In recent times, now that he doesn’t have to be so meticulous, another side of him has started to show. He can be quite a cheery and innocent guy. He never had a youth, so his playfulness and joy towards the simplest of things is quite genuine. He is a curious fellow who is always glad to learn. He would show this side of him much more often if he hadn’t lost so much faith in humanity. He himself is a pirate, yet he hates most pirates. They have shown him some of the worst times of his life, and seldom are they good people. If people can get this bad, then they might as well disappear. The only times he lets his happy side out is when he is with people he feels he can trust, or, should he ever obtain them, friends.
History History Jeb’s story begins like any other pirate’s does. As a young child, his family was brutally murdered in front of him by a notorious group of pirates. Growing bored of the mindless slaughter that had occurred, they decided to take one of the survivors alive, so they could play with it. This survivor was Jeb. They had all sorts of fun with him, and I don’t mean anything perverted. The would tie him to a chair, and throw knives at a target situated just behind his head. They would tie him onto a rope and pretend to use him as fishing bait. They would get him drunk and watch as he tried to walk across a swaying deck. They would lock him in rooms with flirty wenches, and laugh as the awkwardness ensued. Such was the life of the young pirate to be, that is, until he got a little older.
From the time he could lift any decent amount of weight, he lost his merit as entertainment and became a simple slave to be abused. He started as a cabin boy, doing all sorts of chores, and cleaning things that no child should have to touch. It was revolting, but he toughed through it. Without his humorous charm, his only merit was as a tool, so he would clean and clean, until his hands were rubbed raw, and his bones ached with every movement. If he stopped, he would likely be cast aside, or even more likely, killed. That is how little he was valued by those that had captured him. He lived as this mere cleaning utensil for a few more years, but by this time, he was quite a bit bigger, and was taken less lightly. Anyone that was big enough and could hold a gun was useful, so they placed one in his hands and made him a pirate.
Now, when he was ‘made a pirate’ he wasn’t exactly trusted. He was still just that slave they picked up a long time ago, but he had never rebelled or done anything to warrant distrust, so rather than leave him a slave, they tried to squeeze some more use out of him. Regardless, this was the start of Jeb’s life as a pirate, and he revelled in it. Despite his distaste for pirates, he enjoyed being the one in power, and no longer the victim. It’s much more enjoyable to stare down the sights of a gun than it is to be on the receiving end. Jeb enjoyed it much more than anyone else on the crew, and his obsession with guns lead to his discovering of his magic. Through extensive over contact with his rifle, he found he was able to do things with it no one else in the crew could, and as soon as he could, he high tailed it for the main land. Skills & Disciplines Experienced Pillager - After years of privateering, Jeb has gained a decent enough skill in pillaging. He has noticed patterns in how people tend to hide their valuables, and now has a general ability to predict where things may be hidden. This does not give him any ‘ooc’ knowledge on item locations, but gives him a general ‘hunch’ when searching houses for things to steal.
Guerilla Tactician - The typical strategy for a pirate is to strike hard and fast, then leave ASAP. This is akin to a form of combat known as ‘guerilla warfare’. Practicing these types of tactics for a decent amount of time, Jeb is knowledgeable in how to lead such assaults on various locations.
Survivalist - When pirates and bandits aren’t reveling in the luxuries of recently performed raids, they are generally in a rather poor state. Jeb has lasted through long ‘dry spells’ of piracy where no loot could be found for miles. In these scenarios, he had to learn to survive on minimal amounts of sustenance.
Gunman - While not a fantastic shot(at least not yet), Jeb is well versed in the use, practice, safety, and maintenance of guns. He knows proper form for holding and aiming guns, as well as various skills needed to keep guns operating smoothly under all conditions.
Magic Magic Name: Bang Bang Boom Magic Type: Exquip Tier of Magic: 3 Rank: 1 Magic Description: The user can change equipment through magic power, sending items back and forth from a pocket dimension. Jeb’s magic specializes in guns, explosives, and different types of ammo, all of which may or may not have magic qualities as determined by the weapons themselves. His magic abilities also include being able to manipulate these weapons to varying degrees based on his skill, and the quantity/size of what he attempts to manipulate. Manipulation being the ability to move these different items through the air with varying amounts of control(does not include altering the physical state etc. of the items).

Appearance Physical Description: Free is an average sized man with an athletic build. He is toned in his physique, and he has light to tan skin depending on the time of the year. He has green hair, and light yellow eyes. He is very fond of his uniquely colored features because it displays his freedom. His face generally features an idiotic grin, or a fairly serious combat expression. These expressions are entirely dependent on his mood, because he cannot tell or show a false emotion. He always displays what he feels. Whilst his body is relatively slender, he eventually plans to weigh 350 lbs. and have multiple bullets wounds due to gang violence. His face and visible extremities are generally riddled with small cuts and bruises.
Clothing: Regardless of where he is, Free is always wearing the same outfit. He wears thick olive green military pants, held up by a black belt with a simple iron belt buckle. Along with the pants, he has a matching jacket. The jacket is well maintained and ironed, and also has a hood that can fold out from the inside. Under the jacket, he has a black undershirt that fits snugly against his abdomen. On his hands he wears black gloves that are cut of at the knuckles. This is mainly because he thinks they look cool. It serves no actual functionality. For shoes, he wears thick black leather combat boots. These are often caked with mud, and just dirty in general. When it hasn't fallen off somewhere, he is wearing a green military beret.

Personality Free is an extremist in many regards. Primarily though, his obsessions and worldviews are based on the concept of freedom. He doesn't like to see anyone being oppressed in any way. This includes those who should be oppressed, such as criminals, or wild beasts. It is Free's obligation as an entity of freedom to free such freedom seeking individuals, so he will try his best to do so. This isn't even an option to him. He literally has to try and save them, or else he'd go insane. This is only when it wouldn't put his life in eminent danger, because you can't be free if you're dead. A slight problem with this notion of freedom is that whenever he is denied something, even if rightfully so, he believes someone is trying to encroach on his freedom, so he freely throws a tantrum. This generally leads to anger and violence, and finally ends with a bang. He also believes his spirit animal is the bald eagle because freedom.
Another extremist belief of his is that he comes from another world, specifically from a large military/economic powerhouse of a country on this world, which is an embodiment of freedom. Most, if not all of the people that know this regard him as a lunatic. Due to this belief, he is often on his lonesome, thinking he is an outcast in a place not designed for him. Despite this feeling of seclusion, he is actually quite outgoing. If he let his insecurities control him, then he wouldn't be free from his own mind. He is boisterous, loud, impulsive and wild. The definition of freedom. Surprisingly though, he often encroaches on the freedom of others, and he doesn't seem to regard this as bad. It would seem he has a selective definition of freedom that only applies when a situation is beneficial to himself, or doesn't otherwise negatively impact him. He is also quite greedy, but he pretends he isn't.
History History Free grew up way out in the countryside. His father was a farmer. His mother was a hussy. Right after he was born, his parents broke up and his father quit farming to pursue a career in music. He sang about his breakup with Free's mother, and he was unsuccessful in his career. This meant that Free was left at home while his father pranced about trying to get famous. He had little food, little education, and little entertainment. Because of this, he had to rely on the world inside his head to get by. His imagination was quite powerful, and he began to imagine an entire world inside of it. After awhile, he had deluded himself into believing he was from the world he had created, and he started to detach from reality. As he grew up, more and more false memories began to anchor inside of his head, until he was a full blown loony. He convinced himself he was a soldier from the strongest nation in the world, and after getting hit by an artillery shell, he found himself sitting in a field on another planet.
He was really just a pathetic 20 something year old guy with no drive or direction, but he believed he was special. He separated himself from the others in his tiny village, and pretended to be surviving in a foreign land. He came to discover that the world was magical(which he should have already known) and he also discovered that he could use magic(along with a decent percentage of everyone else). This seemed to further solidify the notion that he was special, until he started to believe he was an envoy of freedom. He was sent to this pathetic world in order to spread the true freedom of his 'home country'. Again, these were all delusions he had worked up, but he would never believe such a statement. With this enraptured mindset, he began frolicking across the land, trying to spread his ideals in a peaceful manner. It didn't work. People called him crazy. Because of this, he changed his modus operandi. He became cruel, and wild in his actions, and started to get violent. If people didn't willfully accept his freedom, he would force it down their throats.

It is actually just a decently carved wooden object in the shape of a gun that is coated in metallic paint. It is nothing more than a fancified wooden club use for beating people.

Skills & Disciplines Specialist Chef - Free is an accomplished chef in a single field of cooking. Fried foods. If it can be fried, he can make it, and he can make it well. The taste will be delicious, and it will go well with cheese, ranch, ketchup, chocolate, you name it. On the negative side, these foods are often unhealthy. At least it tastes good though.
Marksman - Free has learned to hunt with a rifle from a young age. He may not have a gun, but he can point objects at things, and be fairly confident that it's in the right direction. Obviously, the accuracy stat truly judges this, but he's at least confident he can do it, even if he's wrong.
Clubbing - Free is very capable when it comes to using a blunt object to hit things.
Magic Magic Name: Manifest Destiny Magic Type: Explosive Magic Tier of Magic: 1 Rank: 1 Magic Description: Manifest destiny is a truly beautiful magic. In ideals and action, it is a fantastic force that allows the user to enforce their beliefs. The user is able to create explosives in the form of objects. Namely, weapons, vehicles of war, and other war oriented things. These objects are temporary and are just different means of delivering explosives. From jets that drop the explosive then vanish, to tanks that can take some hits while moving the explosive forward. They can even be simple missiles that explode when they reach something. All in all though, it's all about destruction in the form of bombs. While creating the different forms offers some variability in the way of delivery, what it boils down to is sending an explosive from point A to point B. As it's focus is almost entirely destruction, it is explosion magic in one of its truest forms. Some nit-pickers will say that it doesn't need the specific designs, Free is adamant that these icons of war be used.
Techniques: 2/2 Jettison To Freedom - (1) Type: Offence Range: 10 M Effect: Free generates a small aircraft, the size of a paper airplane that flies through the air to a target, then drops a small bomb. The bomb has the strength of a firecracker. The airplane vanishes once the bomb is dropped. If destroyed or otherwise stopped, the bomb drops from where the plane last was. Maximum duration of 2 posts, cooldown of used duration.
Tank-you For My Freedom - (1) Type: Offence Range: 5 M Effect: Free generates a small tank the size of a cat. The tank moves forward across rough or smooth terrain towards its target. The tank can receive one hit of equal or lower rank before it breaks down and stops moving. Anything of higher rank will stop it. Once it reaches its target, or once it stops moving due to being broken, it detonates a small bomb. The bomb has the strength of a firecracker. Maximum Duration of 3 posts. 3 post cooldown.

Name: Kyo Kyo Appearance: Spoiler: click to toggle Posted Image Species: Afflicted Gender: Male Age: 22 Personality: Kyo is what a nice person(and when I say nice, I mean very very nice) would call weird straight to his face. If someone did such a thing, his reaction could vary due to any number of reasons. He may just giggle and say 'yeah' one day, and the next he could spit on their shoes. If you asked him why, it'd be for something superficial like, 'I liked his bow tie'. He has had this unpredictable, clearly disturbed personality trait since he was born. It is also the most defining characteristic of his personality, for obvious reasons. It is also due to this unpredictable nature that he is commonly referred to as 'crazy'. He is a bit off, and by a bit, I mean very, but he's just a weird, self absorbed, opinionated guy. Nothing more nothing less. Oh, and he's also completely bonkers.
Another defining characteristic of his personality is his sense of wanderlust. He cannot stay in one place for too long. The simple explanation is that he gets bored quite easily, and if the day isn't very eventful, he blames it on his surroundings. Most people tend to avoid him, so he has very few reasons to stay in one area for too long. His predicament as such, he simply travels constantly, stopping to rest, eat, and occasionally chat or play with someone kind enough to endure him. It's a simple life, at surface value. He also causes endless problems as he goes. Lacking common sense, he causes problems. These problems draw attention. When attention is upon him, he completely misreads the situation and thinks he is being adored. When he believes he is being adored, he tends to act haughty and does as he pleases. This chain can go on and on, so, long story short, he gets big headed and acts like a moron, quickly getting shunned from whatever town he happened to be in.
An odd, yet prevalent third trait is inexplicable anger. He gets angry at stupid things, for stupid reasons, and often forgets why he's mad during his idiotic rampages. When anyone sees him, there is always something he is doing. It is very obvious, and it is very unhealthy. He is an extremely addicted smoker, and this is due to his anger. He got mad at an entire town once, and because of his rage, he vowed to cause their deaths. He had also once heard that smoking is unhealthy for those around you. taking this as a way to avenge himself, he began smoking. What he overlooked was the fact that 90% of the time, he is by himself and he also seemed to conclude that it didn't effect himself. He's clearly wrong. Currently he doesn't remember why he smokes. He does it now due to his addiction. Some other notable things he is addicted to are caffeine from chewing tea leaves and chocolate, staring contests, punching things and talking really loud.
History: Kyo was born to a humble swordsman and his wife far in the wilderness where they could escape the hustle and bustle of city life. He was not born with the name Kyo, it was in fact quite different, but he no longer recalls what it was. It is also an insignificant detail that means very little. Back to the story, the day he was born was the proudest day in his fathers life. not only had his first child been born, but it was a boy. He had long dreamed of a son he could pass his skills onto, it was one of the very reasons he had gotten married and settled down. It didn't take more than a couple of years to turn that joy into utter disappointment. Aside from his skill with a blade, there wasn't a single thing that his father liked about him. He was loud, rude, violent, stupid and most of all, hated being in the quiet countryside. While his mother had nothing but love for her first child, his father felt only contempt. Soon, he once again took up the blade and left, abandoning the family he had looked forward to so much. With him gone, Kyo's mother fell into a depression. At first she cried nonstop, but this overwhelming dark feeling soon boiled up from within her as a blinding rage. She screamed and roared, and walked right on out of the house. Kyo waited for her to return, but she never did. This traumatic experience closed the first chapter of his life.
Luckily for you, his life is composed of two chapters(thus far). It didn't take long for pillagers and ransackers to find the abandoned house. They came right in, ignoring the child, and began grabbing valuables left and right. Kyo asked them to stop, but all they replied with was "Fuck you." Ignoring their insults, he continued asking them things, like their names, and where they were from, but all they said was "Fuck you." They didn't have time to put up with the whims of a child. They were already poor, they needed to scavenge quickly and sell so they could buy food and alcohol. This did not deter Kyo in the slightest. He decided that along with all of their belongings, he too would join them. They blatantly refused him but he followed anyways. No threats or insults seemed to reduce this desire, so they eventually caved in. They made him carry things and hardly gave him any food, but he was content. He had people to talk to, and he was finally out of the countryside that he hated so much. He could explore and go on adventures, or so he imagined, but life is harsh. He had joined an extremely impoverished group of thieves, and the least of their concerns was taking care of a child, especially one that wasn't their own.
When they needed him to do something, they simply shouted "Fuck you," and he would come running. It was a nickname of sorts, and he had no choice but to accept it. He washed things, he pick pocketed, he carried stuff. Manual labor was all that he was smart enough to do. Eventually though, this lifestyle came to an end. The whole troupe was apprehended by the authorities. Being a young boy, they didn't think he was with them. They simply asked his name and a few details about his life. The problem was that he had forgotten his name. Thinking quickly, the things he was always called came to mind. "Fuck you." He obviously couldn't be named as such, but it was all he could think of so he blurted out Kyo. The men simply nodded and let him go. Kyo was excited. He had named himself, and people accepted it. He had done something well for the first time in his life. He liked the name he chose so much that he used it twice, naming himself Kyo Kyo. With a name, a bad personality, and nothing to do, he set out across the country wandering aimlessly as his life went on.
At some point during this time, Kyo remembers getting struck in the head. After that, there is a long blank period, and then he recalls awakening in the middle of a field. When he got to town, he found out it had been a week since he had been knocked out. Another thing he found out is that something was wrong with his eye. He was getting weird stares from people(not much different than normal, mind you), and was being shunned before he had even made a fool of himself. Quickly finding a puddle, he discovered that his eye was white, emitted a soft light. The light was faint, but quite noticeable because of the change in color. He was a bit alarmed at first, but it didn't take long for him to forget about it. He was used to being a reject, so being glared at because of his eye didn't make things much different. Heading back out into the wilderness, he lived as he had, and was quite comfortable with how his life was going, but he started noticing some strange things. When he smoked, sometimes the smoke he exhaled was way more abundant than what he had inhaled. At other times, when he was next to a campfire thinking about stuff, sometimes the smoke would start to shift position, or swirl and undulate in an unnatural pattern.
Having noticed the emergence of a new power, he started to give it more thought. He tried exhaling while pretending he was smoking, and pure white smoke emerged. He had to blink a few times from the surprise. With some effort, he was even able to produce the white smoke from other places on his body. The smoke wasn't hot, it had no scent, it wasn't unhealthy or anything of the sort. It was just... white smoke. Like with the campfire smoke, he could make it move slightly, or cause it to ripple, but his control was very minor. He was far from being skilled in the manipulation of smoke, but it didn't bother him. He was far too excited about being gifted in such a way. He felt superior to all the normal people he encountered, which just served to inflate his already distorted ego. Kyo was now an irresponsible, goofy, wild, easily excitable goon with a sword and the power to control smoke. Woopy.

Equipment Equipment Main Hand- A damaged steel katana with a nearly dull blade.
Off Hand- Pipe of the Southern Lands- This pipe has been passed down through many generations, only to be lost to time after the last ruler to carry it perished during a war in the southern lands beyond the Wastes. Whatever tobacco put inside is not burned when smoked, but rather preserved for eternity until removed for a different kind. It's a simple polished wood pipe with a gold band twisting around the edges all the way to the spout.

Home: Who needs a home when you can wander around aimlessly for all eternity? Well, Kyo technically still owns his family home. It's a run down skeleton of what used to be a house. One of the outer walls is collapsed, revealing the dirty interior. There are 3 rooms. One is large room with a single bed frame, but nothing else. Not even a mattress on the bed frame. There are several scuff marks on the tarnished wooden floor where furniture has clearly been dragged. There is a smaller room with nothing in it. There are 4 divots on the floor where 4 bed posts had been. This was the remains of Kyo's old room. The final room has a broken table, and a kitchen area. Nothing remains of the kitchen, but it does have stains on the wall from smoke, and food. All in all, it's a pretty terrible place. Kyo doesn't even know how to get there.

Personality: Squib is one elusive mother trucker. He doesn't like to be stared at for extended periods of time, and rarely will be found in crowded places. Being seen by people is just something that makes him uncomfortable. He isn't shy, he isn't embarrassed of himself, it's just something he dislikes. He can even hold a decent conversation with someone if they look the other way, or are blindfolded(and anything similar). It's just once their eyes fall on him, he feels a compulsive need to leave, though this can be resisted to an extent with fewer people around. There are even people he can completely withstand if he has known them long enough, or if they inspire great trust in him.
Another facet of his personality is an obsessive need to dig. Whether digging for freedom, digging for fun, or digging to uncover wealth, Squib loves, and needs to dig. He bites away at the dirt, or uses his drill like tail to work his way into the cold, calming earth, and enjoys a solitary time of endless digging. Every once in awhile though, he will out dig himself. He will just dig so much that he can't even stand the site of dirt, so he rises to the surface and will take flight with his stubby wings to enjoy the open air. This short break in his usual routine is all he needs to do before he gets right on back to digging.
While Squib has two major vices, digging and hiding, he does have a life outside of obsession. He is a hard working individual, and will surface with things he gathers in his digging to sell for food and such. He also does the occasional violent job on the side to satisfy his less than normal 'cravings'. While normally an elusive pacifist, this little worm can work up a surprising appetite for murder. Of course he isn't a mindless heathanistic killer, no no, he is a much more refined killer who works for money. He 'isn't' killing for joy, he 'is' killing because it's a job. What kind of person would he be if he just ruthlessly murdered people for pleasure under the guise of 'jobs'?
History: Squib has lived a very solitary life. When he was born, he was a simple egg resting in a nest. When he hatched, he was by himself, not located in any nest, but tucked between some stones. His egg had been cast aside, tossed from it's motherly warmth, and left to fend for itself. Whether this was normal for his species, or the cruel act of an uncaring mother, he didn't know, but he disliked it greatly. He assumed that it was solely the act of his mother, but he couldn't be sure as he had never met another of his species. They happened to be something of an oddity that was hard to find, which is a fact that he has given much thought. He firmly believes that his habit to avoid sight and whatnot isn't just an obsessive habit on his part, that it is an act ingrained into his genetics. How else could he explain his need to hide, and natural talent in doing so? Perhaps he had never even been abandoned, rather, his parents had simply hidden from him. He would never know, all he truly knew was that he held a truly great amount of resentment for the large betrayal in his youth.
Growing up on his own was surprisingly... easy. He simply hid and waited as large violent pokemon enjoyed their weak preys, and then Squib would simply pop up and finish the remains. Plant or animal, it didn't matter. He just ate what was left behind and enjoyed every shred of it. The life of a scavenger was easy, and required no effort on his part. Not that he was lazy or anything, it was just efficient to eat the remains. Over time, he began to enjoy watching the hunters taking their prey, tearing it to shreds, and eating it. This gruesome spectacle was like a play to him. It was something he went out of his way to watch, and love. As more time passed, just watching wasn't good enough. He wanted to be an 'actor' in these events, and the roll he desired was that of the hunter. He wanted to be the powerful beast that threw enemies to the ground and ripped their insides out.
In between bouts of obsessive digging, Squib would take some time to go after a small prey. Maybe a young rattata, or an unsuspecting budew would serve as the perfect practice targets. He would hide in a tree, or in tall grass, or under a rock, and as soon as the young, playful critter would uncover the patient hunter, he would longe forward in a rage, and keep attacking until the fight was over. He racked up a few of these little pests in his portfolio, but nothing much to brag about. He was nothing like the famous assassins that could be found on wanted posters across the land. Such men were so skilled they weren't even in the same plane as the law. Squib would love to have the chance to be one of these 'untouchables', and it remains one of his dreams.

Mortimus is a very smart and conniving fellow who is always planning something evil. He also gets offended easily and hates to be looked down upon. Due to some mishaps, he has been forced to join Kyo, despite him despising the man.
History: Mortimus was once a powerful wizard who isn't well known in the world. This is because he was a mysterious being who lives in peoples dreams. He would approach people in their dreams and challenge them to a game of some sort. If he won, he would eat their soul, if they won, they could make any wish they desired. Of course, they could turn down the challenge and he would leave. Needless to say, Mortimus is a manipulative man who has never lost in these games, and is thus unknown to the world, since no one has lived to tell about it. Recently, he challenged Kyo to a game in his dreams, but the distorted world in Kyo's mind was too much for him to handle, so he lost. Kyo's wish was for a million wishes, but Mortimus pleaded with him because such a strong wish would kill the mage. Instead, Kyo allowed him to become his slave, which caused him to form in the real world, stripping him of most of his powers. He serves as a member of Cloud Regiment.

Personality: To put it simply Lobo is a man. A manly man. A man among men if you will. He does manly things all the manly time, and he does them in a manly manner. He's brave, he's courageous, he's wise, he's strong, he's manly, he's manly, he's manly, and finally, the most important factor of all, he's manly. Some would say he is the epitome of all men. Most would say he's a fool pursuing something he will never achieve. The achievement in question being the strongest fighter ever in all of everness. As all men should be, Lobo is a fighter. He picks fights, he joins fights, he causes fights, he lives and breaths fights. The main reason being that men are tough. Fights are also tough, ergo, they should meet up. When he isn't fighting, he's busy being all manly smoking cigars and drinking alcohol. Both actions can be considered considerably manly, as such, all men should do them. Lobo is no exception, and to show his extreme devotion, he uses them way to often. One thing that Lobo thinks is unforgivable is showing fear, though this rule only applies if you are male. Females can be afraid if they want, but men can fear NOTHING. They have to be manly at all times, even when staring death in the face, otherwise they wouldn't be manly, and that is unacceptable.
Lobo also has a complex due to his manly nature. He happens to be a spinda, which as we all know, are cute, cuddly, and pink. All three things are extremely unmanly, and this embarrasses the hell out of Lobo. Thanks to this complex, Lobo focuses on being manly far too much, and ends up being too manly. Yes yes, I know, such a thing shouldn't be possible, but Lobo has done it. By being so ashamed of himself that he has forced himself to go beyond the pinnacle of all men, he has done the undoable. This fact makes him even manlier, which ends up making him do another undoable act of manliness, and this cycle keeps going on and on in an unlimited cycle of manliness. That is how insanely manly Lobo is. The only negative factor about him is the complex, as no man should be ashamed of themselves. Confidence is something that all men should have, and though Lobo has it, the complex is a chink in it.
History: From a young age, Lobo has always been different from the other spindas. While others were joyful and frolicked around enjoying themselves, Lobo set himself on the path of men. He watched humans from afar, practicing their martial arts. He snuck into buildings to steal alcohol and tobacco as humans who used such things were manly. He fought, fought again, fought some more, and fought yet again with the other male spinds. They didn't even have to participate in the fights. he would simply charge them fists bore and start a fight. These ranged from manly, to super manly in proportion, and the end result of his reckless behavior was being shunned by his entire race. Lobo became an exiled spinda, doomed to wander the world, but he actually liked the outcome. Now that he was freed from the shackles of a spindas life style, he could fight humans, the pokemorphs, and eventually, he could challenge the gods themselves. There would be no greater act of manliness than challenging the gods, and it is something Lobo looks forward to tremendously.
On his adventures, Lobo is quite the... character. He never really gets along with others, except the most patient of people. It is really hard to deal with a loud mouthed idiot who always wants to fight, but a couple have managed it. Women have the easiest time with Lobo because men are supposed to be polite to women, and he follows the rules of manliness very closely. He would never strike a woman, and he very rarely would curse in their presence. The biggest exception being during fights, in which case, he had to berate his opponent as much as possible. That was the obvious manly thing to do. In recent times, Lobo likes to challenge villainous pokemon that he hears about in his travels. He finds a community of pokemon, and asks around about recent crimes. Then he will rush to the location of the offender and challenge them to a fight. Most would call him a bounty hunter, but he doesn't do it for the money. He does it to prove his strength as a man.

In his mind he is generally in a state of disarray, thinking as quickly as possible to find the most efficient way to get what he wants.
Dun also has an obsession with power and leadership. He likes to be at the top of the social hierarchy, because using respect and/or fear is the easiest way to control people. Plus, when you have all the power, you no longer have to work hard. You get what you want, when you want it, and who wouldn't find that appealing? It's just,most normal people don't want it as badly as Dun.
Dun could be called a sociopath as he will do anything to get what he wants so if his manipulations fail, he will get violent. The scary factor being that he feels no regret afterwards. He simply weighs it as a numerical loss as every life is a statistic to be controlled once he's Godking. Well, every life besides humans and pokemorphs, aka, pokemon. Humans and pokemorphs are impure wretches that will be wiped from the planet in time. Dun just isn't strong enough to enforce this yet.
History: Dun lived a relatively normal life as a peaceful diglett, living innocently oblivious to the horrible world above. They frolicked in underground tunnels, and sang their diglett songs day in, day out, but it wouldn't last. The wretched humans above wanted expansion, and to occupy the world, not giving a second thought to those they displaced. They flooded the tunnels, and filled them in with dirt, they then built their cities on top as if the land belonged to them. The diglett were left defenseless on the surface where most of them were killed and eaten by bigger pokemon, for no reason other than humans greed.
This event in his past twisted Dun quite a bit. First off, he was now alone, separated from everyone he once knew, not knowing if they were dead or alive. Secondly, he became selfish and narrow minded. He wanted nothing but his own gain, others be damned. Being friendly and happy with friends only invited more sorrow when they were ripped from your clutches. This is something that Dun never wanted to experience again, so he didn't. He stayed solo, mastering his manipulative abilities by feigning friendship with other pokemon. Once he was content, he set off to the mountains where humans were scarce.
In these mountains, Dun practiced survivalism, and lived in the wild. He watched as humans traveled by, but they always left because these mountains weren't suited to their fragile existences. With a smirk, he simply stared onwards, knowing that eventually they would be wiped out. He couldn't let humans live happily after they had ruined him, and his life. It wasn't fair, and even if the world wasn't fair, that was merely temporary. Once he took control of this stinking earth, he would change how things worked.
Once he was content with his ability to speak and act nice, he practiced his ability to inspire terror. It wasn't very good as he wasn't strong, but he definitely had the hate and murderous intent for it. It was only a matter of time before he was strong enough to amass an army and march out onto the unsuspecting world. If he wasn't allowed to be happy, then nobody was, and he would make sure of it.

Physical Description: Starting with his face, his pale complexion makes the wrinkles a bit less noticeable. He looks a bit younger than his age, which is a surprise. He's an avid smoker, and smoking tends to cause your skin to age quicker. He'd be lucky if he only hand wrinkles, let alone, stained skin, and an awful odor. Yes, he was very lucky that very few of these persisted. His eyes are a soft brown that become a bit lighter, heading towards gold, as you get closer to the pupil. His irises are naturally small, so his eyes seem to gaze sharply when he looks around. His eyelids droop down a bit, giving him a lazy or tired look. This has been a quirk he has had since childhood, so many who know him are used to it. Below his left eye, he has a small scar horizontally. It is about 3 cm long, and it has been there for as long as he can remember. He has been told it was from scratching when he had hives when he was a baby. His lips are narrow, and always seem to be forming a smirk. Even when he is beyond himself with rage, his lips always seem to be angled into a grin. This 'smile' has gotten him into trouble more than once in his life. There is a very good reason his teeth have not been yellowed due to smoking. The answer being he has no teeth! At least, no real ones. In an unfortunate accident, most of his teeth were knocked out, and as a retirement bonus from the military, a stain proof set was created for him. They function and feel like real teeth, but they have the lucky benefit of not getting that nasty yellow color.
Geo is getting on in life, and as such, he is not as fit as he once was. He hasn't put on much weight, quite the opposite in fact, he has lost some in his later years. The problem being that he's lost muscle mass, not fat. His body remains somewhat toned, but nothing viewable through his cloths. His hair is graying to the point where it is almost white. This may be due to age, but it can easily be attributed to stress. It had began graying around his thirties when physically he was still in his prime. The military does that to some people. One day you have your nice black hair, and the next it's all wispy and pale. Another side effect of his age and/or stress is his skin tone. Despite many hours spent daily in the sun, he cannot seem to get tan anymore. His skin remains pale, and around his eyes especially, a bit wrinkly. Geo has always had bony elbows and joints. His shoulder blades are clearly visible with every movement of his arm. His elbows are sharp, and a blow from one would be quite painful. His fingers are thin and long, with each knuckle being large and noticeable. His chest is decently defined, but just below, his ribs are visible without sucking in. His skin is taught over his body which makes all these details very noticeable. One might call it a very gaunt figure.
Geo's arms and legs are rather long and narrow. This gave him a distinct advantage in fist fights, which is an advantage he hardly utilized due to his general lack of physical strength. On his fingertips, there is a permanent black shade. This is no disease or odd curse that plagues him, but rather, a side effect of his passion. He loves to draw maps, and the constant smudges of ink are engraved deeply into his skin. Despite many attempts to wash them, the stains never vanished, as such, he has given up removing them. Having had them for years, he now views them as a badge of honor for many dedicated years to cartography. His feet are rather average in size for a man of his size, but he does have one unique feature. On his right foot, he is missing his two small toes. An unfortunate accident that involves two idiots knocking over a weapon rack had stolen these digits from Geo. It was no fun trip to the infirmary that night. Due to his light skin color, some of his veins could be seen through his skin. This was prevalent on his inner forearms especially. You could trace a vein from his wrist to his elbow without stopping. One of the few reasons he tends to wear long sleeves.
Another reason for the long sleeves was poor blood circulation. His most detested feature caused by his age. As he had gotten older, he had also gotten colder. He now had to wear long sleeves and pants year round to avoid shivering. Though, sometimes he shivered anyways. After strenuous activities he tended to get jitters. Something he knew was a sign of his joints going bad, but he ignored it. He couldn't not be active. What's the point of life if your not going to exercise and do things to the fullest? So what if his knees went bad eventually, he lived in the now. Walking doesn't cause the jitters, and if it did, his posture wouldn't allow it. Military training has given him a great posture. He walks tall and dignified, regardless of circumstances, and hardly loses his balance. Geo keeps his posture rigid, but moves his legs in a fluid motion to avoid complications. It was how he was taught. The rigid posture is dignified, but the fluid motions were efficient. One thing that is wrong with his walking/running motion is his exaggerated arm swings. His elbows bend and he swings them in front of himself when he moves. This is intentional to an extent. He often gives off the impression of overly serious, so this is to try and loosen up the mood.
Clothing: His most notable garment is a large black trench coat. During all his years in service, the coat has faded a bit to a dark gray. Near the bottom edges of the coat, it has warn and tattered a bit, but he pays this no heed. A coat is a coat, and if it keeps him warm, that's enough. He doesn't need to look nice. Men look manly, not pretty. The edges of the coat are embroidered with a silver thread that gleams in the sunlight. On an ordinary soldier, this would simply give away position, but he is not an ordinary soldier, so this never hindered him. The silver lining is often a sign of a special forces unit. Indeed, he was 'special'. The buttons, similarly, are silver and have a small pattern imprinted on them. There are two pockets on the coat, lower around the hip bone. One on each side of the coat. The sleeves are long, coming to his wrist and a bit further. The cover about half of his hands, only allowing from his knuckle and down to hang out. This isn't an inconvenience as they can be pushed back easily. Around his waste is a white belt. This is a thick bleached leather belt with a silver buckle. This resides just above his waist to keep the coat from coming unbound and flowing wildly. Following the color of the belt, he also wears a white scarf that is wrapped tightly around his neck. He is fully adorned year round as he gets cold quite easily. He would rather be to hot than to cold. Under this coat, he no longer wears his military issued uniform, but a simple white wifebeater. It is made of wool, and is warm enough, without making him sweat profusely. His pants are made from the same water resistant material as his trench coat, and are black as well. They are tight to his skin and go down his legs before being tucked into his high boots. The boots come up to just below the knees and are a durable weather proof rubber. The pair issued to Geo was much to large, so he uses a series of small belts to keep it tight against his skin. This helps him a lot considering the mucky terrain he walks through. While most would avoid messy terrain, he walks right through it. As such, everything he wears is water resistant. On his hands he wears a pair of black knuckle gloves. They are cut off at the knuckles which allows him to retain his sense of touch and most of his grip when he is drawing. The inside of the gloves is laid with rubber to help the grip of larger objects such as the hilt of a sword, or a flag if such was what he is carrying.
An alternate set of clothing when he is inside, or relaxing on a day off is much simpler in contrast. It is a simple wool shirt that is long sleeved. It is white in color and is very plain. He also wears a simple pair of blue jeans. His shoes are an old fashioned pair of warn work boots. This is what he considers his comfortable garb and as such, he will only wear it while in his home, or on a rare vacation.
Accessories: Regardless of which outfit he is wearing, there are two distinct things he always has. One is his silver rimmed glasses that he wears. They aren't prescription, but it has become a habit to wear them. The other is an all to familiar bulge in one of his pockets. This is his pack of cigarettes. He would never go anywhere without these two objects. Another accessory exclusive to his active garb is his military insignia. It is a pin that is fastened to the left side of his chest. It is attached to a small chain that goes inside his coat in case it falls off. There is also a small pocket inside where it can be stored.

Personality Personality The biggest factor of Geo's personality is his dedication. Whether in the form of his incredible resolve to do what he sets out to do, or his obsession with the things he likes. It can have a positive or negative view. Everything he does, he does to his fullest ability. As a child he loved maps. He dedicated his life to become a cartographer, and he did everything within his power to be good with it. But he also neglected his social life and had a very small amount of friends due to this obsession. When he became interested in wars, and war photography, that was the next thing he set out to conquer. Despite his weak constitution, he did his utmost to succeed in the military, and though he never became a soldier on the front lines like he dreamed of, he did join the military and was involved in conflicts. This resolve to do things has lead him through his life and brought him to where he is today. He is proud of it, but at times, he also accepts that it causes problems. He can become addicted to things he likes very easily, such as smoking. Luckily, he had the foresight not to try any other drugs, otherwise he might be addicted to those as well. Besides smoking, he is also a drinker, though he tends to have control over this. He doesn't so much enjoy being drunk. He just likes to drink a bit to take the edge off of his harsh life. Though his number one obsession/passion is still mapping, he has begun to like drawing portraits. His reasoning behind this being that he enjoys mapping the contours of peoples faces. In truth, it's because he is bad at remembering faces, and drawing them helps.
Another large contributing factor to his personality is humor. He loves comedy and has many quirky traits that he thinks are funny. His type of humor is snyde comments and extreme sarcasm. He also likes to act serious all the time, but have some silly traits that don't fit. Most people find him to be displeasing and rude, but he doesn't care. As long as he enjoys his humor, he is OK with it. Problems start to arise when he gets way to into it, or uses it at inappropriate times. He has a tendency to say things he shouldn't to superiors and people of higher status. This usually stems from them getting mad at his natural smirk. Someone will tell him to stop smiling, and he thinks it's funny, so he will same something sarcastic back like "OK, hand me a pair of scissors." This usually doesn't end well for him. It generally gets him in a lot of trouble. This usually only happens in awkward social situations where he is surrounded by people of higher status. When out on the battlefield, he tends to get serious. He knows that life or death situations are not the time for humor, unless it is to boost moral.
One trait that is not so beneficial is that he tends to be the loner type. Due to his obsessions keeping him by himself, and his personality off setting those who would approach him, he has always been alone. Growing up by himself without friends has lead him to believe in only himself. He has developed trust issues with other people since he tends not to rely on others. This is not to say he can't make friends. In his lifetime he has made a few, and he holds them really close to his heart. Once he does make a friend, he is generally able to trust them, but the average person would never receive his trust. In a restaurant, he will pour his own glass of wine as he doesn't trust the waiters. At a library, he would manually search for his own books as he wouldn't trust the librarian etc. Something that has helped him overcome this trait to an extent is the military. Being harshly trained with other men in arms, you develop a sense of brotherhood. If you don't trust your 'brothers' then you could die. Despite him hardly knowing these men, he has learned to entrust them with his life. He still does not trust the average person, but people in uniform can be to an extent. The military for sure he can trust. Police/government officials not so much. Geo has a distaste for politics. To much sneaking and lying to each other for him to care.
Geo is a rather light hearted individual. This was one major factor in him being denied a position as a soldier. He just couldn't bring himself to kill others. This isn't really a bad thing, but in the military, you must be able to take a life if the situation calls for it. A positive to this trait is that he doesn't hold grudges. When he is wronged, he is generally mad at the time, but this quickly passes. He can think of very few people he hates, and the reason he hates them are for very serious matters. Nothing petty like they got in a fight in primary school. Such nonsense is beyond him. He also tends to clear his mind when he does stuff to avoid hurting himself. He was a combat photographer/mapper for the military. There is no way he would be okay after seeing all that death and destruction with his soft hearted mind. It would rip him to shreds internally to think about such things. In order to get around this, when he does his job, he lets his passion for such pursuits take over and empties his mind. He can then do his job efficiently, and by the time he is done, and he snaps out of this state, he is far enough away to not see the cruel reality. Some would call this running away from reality, and indeed he is, but it is the only way for him to overcome such a 'weakness'.
A more recent quirk to his personality is how forgetful he is. He is really really really... What was I gonna say? Oh right, forgetful. It started off as forgetting simple things like addresses and things like that. Recently he has had severe trouble in remembering names. It takes a few introductions before he will remember your name, and in such time, he has probably drawn you at least once. Bu taking the time to sketch you in detail, it makes it a lot easier to engrave your appearance in his mind. By doing this, he can simply attach a name to the image and wala, he knows you. This is most likely caused by old age. As people get older, they generally become more forgetful, but, because he is only in his 40s, it could easily be attributed to something else. In his time, he has taken more than a few blows to the head. Whether by miscast spells in combat, or hard hits from martial training. Despite his lack of skill in melee combat, he has been forced to train in it. He still sucks, but he does know how to take a blow. He can just take a hit and try and ignore it, or his pain tolerance is high enough to take it. Not the smartest way to handle combat, but, he just doesn't have the ability to do otherwise.
Secretly, the trait that is most important is manliness. Manliness is the trait that Geo holds most important. If you aren't manly, you aren't a man. Manliness has no set definition, but it is more of a mind set. It is typically displayed by a big, muscular, hairy, hardy guy who smokes drinks and is a hooligan to his hearts content. Sure, such men are often considered manly, and Geo himself shares some of these traits. But this is not the sole characteristic of manliness. The first requirement is that you are a man. Can't be manly if you are a girl. This is not sexism, this is a fact. The second is that you must be a man. this requirement is so important that it takes the first 2 requirement slots. The third requirement is that you have a passion. Something that you love more than anything. Geo has a passion for sure, and that is maps. The fourth, and final requirement, is that you have an endless desire to better yourself. You must want to better yourself regardless the costs. You will train until you puke, you will fight until you are the last one standing, and you will work until you are the richest man alive. You will continue no matter what and never give up. You cannot quit in anything you do. You will keep trying until you are victorious. That is what it means to be manly. Geo holds this code of conduct very importantly, and is on this path of manliness. He will do whatever it takes to succeed in his endeavors and be deemed a manly man.
History History It was a meager 43 years ago that Geo was brought into this world. 44 if you count his stay in his mothers womb, but let's not go into that. He was the seventh child born into his family, the third son to be born. Sadly, he was only one of the three that lived. Many of his siblings had died from childbirth, or complications soon after. As such, his mother was very over protective, and his father was an avid drinker. Despite these negatives, his parents had nothing but love for the young Geo. His intellect dwarfed his physically active siblings during their child hood. His sister was 5 years older, and his brother was 10 years older than him, and both were extremely active individuals. While they were outside playing, he was inside scribbling on paper, and learning from his mother. He didn't have much love for the outside world, not yet at least. It was around the time he was 5 or 6 that he began to hear stories from his father. While upon his fathers lap in his private study, Geo reveled at the stories of how his ancestors had gained the trust of royalty for their accurate maps. His family was a long line of explorers and soldiers who had mapped the entire nation. He was not a part of the head family who still practiced such activities, but he shared their passion. From then on, the thing he did for fun was draw maps. At first they were imaginative and fun, as he mapped the scapes of his dreams, but he soon turned towards reality. There was something about mapping what you saw sprawled out across the land before you that he found enchanting.
With this passion he continued on to his elementary years. He attended a small school near his home where a distant aunt was the teacher. She was strict and drilled the lessons into the children. Unlike the other children who faced each school day with groans and disdain, he loved it. Learning geography particularly was his favorite. Being a relatively of the teacher, he was often treated in better regard. This earned him the title of a teachers pet, but he didn't mind. He knew that his preferential treatment was in fact due to his higher grades. During his recesses, he would perch himself atop a tree or a large rock adorned with a pen and paper. This is where his 'job' would begin. He would imagine being commissioned by nobles to map the region around him. He would map the children, the trees, the toys, everything that he saw would be noted on his maps. As he continued with these practices, it came as no surprise to those around him that when it finally surfaced, his magic had to do with maps. Simply by moving his finger above the paper, lines could be drawn. At first, he didn't really see the purpose. Was it a simple magic to scribble? or did it have some deeper use. He couldn't figure it out, but he was just a child, he didn't need to. He continued developing his magic with no real goal in mind until his family visited his wealthy cousins near the capital. They were staying with the head family for a short vacation. It was in this large manor house that his true talent was noticed. It had been generations since anyone in his family had manifested a true talent for maps, and this was often in the form of their magic. His talent was noticed, and his magic was identified.
His magic was actually a rare trait that sometime emerged in his family. It was called Cartographers Legacy, and it was what had secured his families reputation to begin with. With a new heir in their midst, the head family demanded custody of the young Geo. His mother wanted desperately to refuse, but having lost so many children, her insecurity got the best of her. This was the last time he saw his mother, and one of the few remaining times he saw his father. The next wouldn't be for several years, at his mothers funeral. During this absence from his home, he was immediately enrolled into a prestigious military academy where he could hone his skills, and gain reputation from future nobles at the same time. He attended a school where he was surrounded by the upper class. This was an unfamiliar situation to him as he had attended a rinky dink school previously. At first, his new family had told him to keep a low profile. They didn't want him to ashame them before he managed to get sued to the pace of the school. The expected him to be a dumb hick who would have to slowly catch up to the level of his peers. It was quite the opposite. He was exceptional in his studies and was already beyond that of the other children. At 9 years old, he was now in classes from much higher grades. His learning continued to accelerate until he reached specialized classes of the military. He was enrolled in a class talking about strategy where maps were utilized a great deal. He found such classes fascinating and slowed down his pace so he could enjoy it further. The sole reason he had moved to the main household was to further his talent, but he had yet to learn anything. He was so occupied with school, he was unable to practice on his own. Due to this, he had to find another outlet for his creativity. While immersed in his studies, he came across an image in one of his text books. It was a war painting full of passion, as if the people were still battling on the paper. It was captivating to the young man as he tried to imitate it. He drew people he saw walking by, hoping this would be his new muse, but it didn't feel right. It wasn't exciting, it wasn't desperate, it wasn't battle.
With newfound determination, and knowing what he wanted to do, he worked even harder. His studies were perfect, but his physical fitness was less than promising. Only the top in the academy in both studies and fitness could move on to join the military. He may be a top class mathlete, but athletics were not his thing. Every night, he would train to make himself stronger. Push ups, pull ups, running, lifting, everything that he could do to improve himself, he did it. It almost made a difference, but he just wasn't strong enough. Everyday, he would strive to improve himself, but to no avail. Luckily, his efforts were noticed, and he was allowed to continue on to active service. There was one strict condition that he had to meet. He could never give up, or he would be expelled immediately. This was something he was fine with. Through his efforts, and his bonding with his fellow recruits, he had developed a new mindset. Manliness is key to a happy life. Be manly, live manly, do manly, act manly, these were the ways of life. As a soldier, he had many chances to be manly. He got in brawls, he started smoking, he drank, and he lived his life like a young man. He continued his training, and within a few years, he was 18, and he had graduated. Normally, such an occasion would be greeted with lots of excitement and happiness, but Geo felt only sadness. He had received sad news a few days prior and was not at his graduation ceremony. He had to receive his certificate in advance so that he could rush home. His father had sent word of his mothers dwindling health. Going as quickly as he could, he returned, but he was not in time. His mother had passed the night before, and he hadn't seen her in over 10 years. He had hoped to show her his diploma, but now, she would never see again.
He was glad to see the rest of his family again. The family owned a small shop, and both of his siblings were content stay home and help their father work. His older brother was engaged, and his sister was still alone. Her luck in love was non-existent. From stories he was told by his brother, she only brought home scumbags which their father promptly kicked out. They stayed cheery, but it was awkward talking with each other. They hadn't talked in years, and it took their own mothers death to bring them together. Geo had gotten so lost in his pursuits that he had forgotten his past life. Things were even more awkward with his father. he had been writing to Geo the whole time, but he had always been to preoccupied to respond. On several occasions he had been invited to come visit home, but he always thought to himself that he would visit next time. It never occurred to him that there might not be a next time. As was the case with his lost mother. His dad harbored no resentment towards his son, he actually had nothing but love for Geo. His mothers overflowing affection had been passed on, and he was now the protective one. This only served to make Geo feel guilty as he felt he could have been there for them. They loved him dearly, and he hardly kept them in his heart. The more he thought about it, the more he realized, throughout his life, he had distanced himself from everyone. He had no close friends, he neglected his familial relations, he had nobody. It was a sad empty life he had been living, and he was determined to change this. Though his active duty was over, he would continue on as a soldier. He would serve his country, and more importantly, try to make a friend and form a lasting relationship.
It didn't take long to make a few minor friends. When you were stuck patrolling roads for petty thiefs and vagabonds with a partner for long shifts, you tended to talk. Talking lead to long conversations, and long conversations lead to friendship, but these were small. He didn't make any good friends for awhile longer. He was in the barracks, and due to an unfortunate wrestling match, he had lost a couple toes. He was not a part of this match, a mere spectator, but he was unlucky enough to be hit by a bumped spear. The blade fell and nipped the toes right off. He fainted at the sight of his detached digits and awoke in the infirmary. The toes couldn't be reattached but he didn't care. He was on pain killers and couldn't feel it. It was laying on this bed that his old passions reawakened. He was stuck, unable to put weight on his foot, so he drew. He drew maps, he drew imaginary battles, he used his magic, everything that he used to find so exciting was reawakening. He giggled to himself at his creations, and this drew attention. A young man, one of the contenders in the match that had gone awry, was on the bed next to him. He had noticed the drawings and had taken an interest. He especially liked a realistic depiction of his match. Geo had been able to recreate the feeling of the match despite it having taken place a couple days prior. This sparked conversations between the two, and their affection grew. Soon they were friends, and through their continued interactions, they became closer. Geo had made his first best friend. It was the first time in his life that he had been so close to someone. They had their ups and downs, the simple squabbles, the arguments, the fights, but also the bonding, the fun times, the silly times, and especially the drunk times. They were inseparable.
There friendship lasted through years. They went on several small assignments together, through which, it was deemed Geo was unfit for combat. There was a small conflict where he had refused to kill someone. The orders were to kill on sight, but he had refused. he just couldn't do it. The military valued his mind and his skill set, so they didn't want to lose him, but they couldn't have him in combat. It just wasn't his forte. Instead, they had him on the strategic end, mapping routes, marking locations, scouting, things that were his strong suit. Though this separated him and his buddy, they still saw each other on occasion, and he was doing things he enjoyed. Another thing they had him do was record battles. He was too timid to watch closely, but he adapted. He became able to ignore the gruesome acts around him and record the battles in images with an objective mind. After the battles he would zone back in and see what he had drawn. This worked for him as the images weren't as bad as the real thing, yet they still conveyed what happened to his superiors. By doing this, he learned how to safely traverse battlefields to avoid combat and get a good view. He was even gifted a rare pair of enchanted glasses by his superiors. He made it a habit to wear them everywhere he went, as he never knew when he might need them. They happened to be quite useful with a strong zooming feature. he used these to closer survey the battlefield and create better depictions. He made maps and images alike, both showing the course of action at different events. One event that triggered his downfall in the military was soon to come. On a small scale assignment where he was to depict a raid of a small bandit encampment, he was sketching a fight as usual. He was feet from the conflict, easily capable of intervening, but he was drawn into his work too much. He didn't take note of who was who, he just mindlessly recorded death. Looking down at his drawing, something snapped him out of his daze. It was a familiar face. Someone that seemed oddly engraved in his heart. Looking up, he saw a fallen comrade. A fellow soldier. His best friend. He was feet away, and he had done nothing, only able to draw.
Filled with rage, he let the cigarette resting on his pursed lips fall. It set his page ablaze, but that was the least of his worries. With a yell, he charged the unsuspecting bandit who was taking a rest after a hairy fight. It was a close fight, almost a draw, but the man had managed a last minute blow. Geo knew this well as he had simply watched as the act was committed. He was less frustrated with the man before him as he was with himself. He knew the guy was just defending himself, but it was his friend that had died. Not some random mook, but his best friend. It was unforgivable. Grabbing a blade from the ground, he came upon the man with a roar. He brought the blade swiftly down, but he was slow. A club came out of nowhere and caught him right in the mouth. He could feel himself sinking in the mud, and when he came too, looking around vaguely, he could see small white pebbles contrasting greatly with the mud. It took him a moment to realize it was his teeth. After another moment, he became aware of the taste of iron in his mouth. Reaching up, he felt his mouth, but all he felt was a gooey mess. His teeth had all been demolished, or knocked out. Looking down, he saw his hand painted red with his own blood. Climbing to his feet, he made it over to where his companions stood victorious. He felt none of the cheer they felt, he only felt the emptiness that had returned. He once again had no one. All he had was the military, but that was a fleeting delusion. Once he got back to base, he was discharged. His depression after the event, fear of death, and the blow to his face were all of concern. They weren't sure if the hit could have caused brain damage, or any long term effects. They liked Geo, but they just couldn't keep him. He was also well on in his years, so it seemed like a good time to finally let him go. He had served for 25 years, more if you include his time in the military school, so he deserved some kind of reward. To make up for his efforts, they had custom teeth made for him. They were then inset by the finest doctors they could fine. He himself couldn't even tell they were fake. His grin continuing to show brightly, despite the sorrow he felt. It was this grin that brought old memories back to him. Thoughts of manliness, and never giving up. This was no time to feel sad, he had to be manly. His adventure had just begun, the military was just a stepping stone to prepare him for his journeys. He would go back to his roots, mapping, and travel the lands being a cartographer as he pleased. He wouldn't have to make new friends, he would just drown himself in simple pleasures to make the days go by. This was the way he was content to live.

Skills and Disciplines
Cartography/Drawing- Geo is a successful cartographer. He has been trained and enjoys mapping. He has long performed at a professional level and always strives to improve his mapping talents. His ability to map stems into another one of his passions. Drawing maps requires a steady hand, and accurate movements. This particular skill sets became invaluable in aiding another one of Geo's passions which is portraits. he loves drawing people, whether sitting still, or moving, he particularly likes to draw live combat. Having performed as a professional war painter for a time, he is quite confident in his skills.
Combat/military training - Having served for a long time, he knows melee and armed combat. This does not mean he is good at it per say, but he is trained in it. He will generally perform better than the untrained civilian, though, his weak constitution is a constant disadvantage. He is particularly adept with small weapons such as daggers. He does not carry one, but it is his weapon of preference.
Survivalism/Pathfinding - Never being part of a military unit as a war painter, he traveled on his own and fended for himself. He had to navigate harsh environments by any means necessary, and as such, is adept at finding safe routes and scrounging the sustenance he needs from such places. He can scrounge for food efficiently, and he can make his way through different environments with less trouble.
Studied - Geo was a student in a prestigious military academy that is renown for it's extensive courses. Geo graduated in the top ten of his class and is quite proud of his accumulated knowledge. He is a very smart individual, and has a general knowledge of many scholastic subjects.
Magic Magic Name: Cartographers Legacy Magic Type: Mapping Magic Magic Description: Due to his long lineage of cartographers, it came as no surprise when Giovanni's magic was related to maps. His obsession with maps has shaped his magic into the epitome of all mappers out there. He can generate magic maps, make detailed images, and update these maps in real time. If he marks a moving object on his map, it will update as it moves. At higher tiers, he can even manipulate objects through direct contact with the map itself. These objects are limited to non-living entities and himself. He cannot control other living objects through this contact.
Spells and Techniques Basic Spells
Map Map Map Affinity:Mental Range: 2 meters Duration: 4 posts Cooldown: 4 posts Description: Geo channels his magic through his quill. He then draws a magic map onto a piece of paper. This basic map simply shows the contours of a battlefield in black lines. The extent of this battlefield is his viewing distance. Any large changes during the duration of this spell will update in real time. For example, if a large crater is formed after mapping a flat field, the contours of the crater will update on the map. After the duration ends, the magic map fades from the paper and goes away. If the magic is stopped at least a post before the duration is over, a non-changing image of the map is stored on the paper. This stored map image is as if it was hand drawn on the paper. Any other marks on the map such as markers that Geo places separately from this spell will also be saved if he chooses to cancel this spell. Cantrip Spells
Basic Symbol - Person Affinity:Mental Range: 2 meters Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: 2 posts Description: Geo channels his magic through his quill. He then touches a person he wants to mark. By taking note of them, then drawing a red dot on a piece of paper, he marks their location. For the duration of the spell, when the person moves, so does the red dot on the paper. If they move faster than Geo could normally perceive, or somehow cloak or shield their presence, the dot disappears. Likewise, if they are not in Geo's viewing distance, they will also disappear from the map. Though, if they hide behind an object that is still in viewing distance, they will still appear on the map, unless this object is some kind of magic ward or barrier.
Basic Symbol - Notifier Affinity:Mental Range: 2 meters Duration: 3 posts Cooldown: 2 posts Description: Geo channels his magic through his quill. He then looks at a location and draws a gray line on his paper corresponding to the location. When something passes over this location, the line will turn yellow. After a moment, the line will turn back to gray. Before the duration of this spell ends, before it wears off, a small number will appear above it indicating how many times the line was triggered. This spell can be canceled early to immediately show the number and cause the line to fade away. This line will fade if the land it references is destroyed or is out of viewing distance.
Basic Marker - Orb Affinity:Mental Range: 10 meters Duration: 1 posts Cooldown: 5 posts Description: Geo channels his magic through his quill. He then presses the tip of the quill onto a piece of paper. This paper must contain a map, whether created by Geo, or premade. After he taps the map, for a very brief moment, a small glowing green orb forms on the corresponding location in the area. It glows faintly and lasts for an extremely brief moment before disappearing. This can be used as a simple way to point somewhere, or show where he just saw movement or similar things. This orb is very small, about 8 inches in diameter. It has no weight and is not a physical object, meaning things pass through it. If something does pass through it, or it is formed in an object, it disappears immediately. In real time it lasts about 3 seconds, though, for forum purposes it lasts '1 post'.

Specs of the Explorer Affinity: Mental Range: Self Duration: 2 posts Cooldown: 4 posts Description: To the unknowing viewer, these are a simple pair of glasses. The rims are made of a light weight metal, and the lenses themselves are rather average. By themselves these give no inherent vision altering effect as they are non-prescription. There is a small knob on the right temple that can be pressed to activate the effect. By twisting this knob, the zoom can be adjusted within the available range. Using the active effect on these glasses, the users vision is enhanced to that of a primitive telescope, so ranging from around 15x vision to 30x vision. The lenses appear to change orange when activated, but thats all that happens. They 'appear' to be orange. This does not change the color of vision. Mundane Equipment
Simple Quill Description: A simple feather quill that can be dipped into inc to draw or write with. Geo tends to use it while using his magic because he feels uncomfortable 'drawing' without something in his hand. Image
Paper Sack Description: A simple satchel of paper that comes in various sizes. The papers are blank and can be written or drawn on. Being a cartographer, paper is a necessity to Geo.
Pack of Smokes Description: A crumpled pack of cigarettes that is always kept in one of Geo's pockets. An avid smoker needs his smokes.
