Build this... Build that.. Work here... Work there. When was she going to digivolve? Well? When was she? This was getting frustrating just being her King's lacky all the time, when are they suppose to destroy the forest and take over? It has been a day since she has declared him her king and started to build his army. Sure he thanks her once in a while, probably to keep her loyal, but when will he digivolve her? She was tired of waiting, this was not working, and her relationship with her new king wasn't worth it.
He was a rat for crying outloud, a Rat! A creature that did not deserve to be a king, a ugly thing she wished to kill with her bare hands. If only she could kill him, if only she could do this, could do this. She was just lucky the digimon gave her enough time to wonder off deeper into the forest, more as a scout than anything really. She was just soo done with this!
She found a huge clear thing she quickly figured out was called a "pond" and was filled with "water", she looked at this huge pond, it looked disgusting to her. There was no need for soil and dirt to be mixed up with its clear pretty illusion. She stared at the water longer wondering what would happen if she jumped in, she knew in the back of her mind that it was safe, but what would happen? As she stared at the water longer she began to notice reflections of clouds and the sun... Such beauty... The sky held such beauty... She was to weak to fly that high, fly to the sky... How she wished she could digivolve to a greater prettier being already.
She felt sad at the world she trapped herself in, she did not deserve this, she was too pretty and powerful for this. She just... wanted... to rule a kingdom... to be the star.. to be noticed... To be better than the digimon she was born with... Was that so bad? She looked longer at the water and began to notice something... Something very very ugly was looking back at her... "What the hell? Is this?" she shouted to herself at what was before her.. It was just so ugly.. It made her so mad.
As she stared at it longer taking in absolutely everything wrong with the thing in front of her, she realized. IT WAS HER! She gave out a scream that could be heard to those near by. She had digivolved to the ugliest of all creatures! She was an imp! A monster! That digimon tricked her! Oh how she wanted to kill it! She was right! It would cause her to digivolve ugly! She began to shake out of fury... Tears began to spread in her eyes. How she hated this! How this life taunted her! Why! Why! Why her?! She deserved better than this!
More tears rang down, why did she have to digivolve to such an ugly creature? Was she that wrong? That evil? Her tears fell into the water breaking the horrible reflection of her face... She whispered to herself that could be heard by someone creeping up on her, "someone save me..." it was the full honest truth of her heart singing out for real help. Probably the only real truth she has spoken since her creation...

Fighting that Wormmon had been so tiring honestly, and Adronis was sure that he had been close to being killed. If he didn't have Cynthia with him to help, there was no way he would been able to survive the battle that wound up bringing about his own digivolution. Now a Nyaromon, no longer a Chibomon, Adronis could tell that things were progressing the way that they were meant to. He didn't know what exactly was meant to happen, only that he was on the right path toward fulfilling whatever destiny was awaiting him. There was no doubt in his mind that once he found the answers, they would all make sense to him. And he had Cynthia to thank for that. Without her, he'd most likely had met his demise before finding anything out. He wouldn't have been able to fulfill his destiny. Unless you could argue that it would have been in his destiny to be destroyed by that ingrate of a bug. But somehow Adronis knew that that wasn't one of the cards that had been dealt to him.
He was thirsty, and after finding a pond, he told Cynthia that he would be getting a drink. When she told him what way she'd be going, he told her that he'd meet up with her in just a bit. It wasn't like anything more could really happen, could it? Perhaps, but he wasn't too worried about it right now. The possibility didn't seem to be that great, going from one life endangering battle to yet another within the same hour. Besides, he had already digivolved once, and that was just to his In-Training form. Surely it wouldn't take much more to get him into his Rookie form, and then he was sure that he'd definitely be set, at least for a little while. Everything was still so new, he was confident that there weren't too many powerful Digimon out there past the Rookie stage. And anyways, he wasn't meant to be deleted now. There was just no way.
Making his way back to the pond he had found, he heard some kind of shout from it and stopped, wondering what that was. A little nervous, afraid that maybe he had been stupid to assume only good things, he made his way closer, very slowly. But what he saw didn't frighten him, and actually made him quite certain that everything was okay. The Digimon that was there was also still small, though slightly bigger than he was. She appeared to be very pure too, like an angel or something. He bounced forward, as quietly as he could, sneaking up on her to see what the problem was that was making her cry out. Was there somebody in the pond that had upset her and caused her to cry out like that? If so, that was certainly no good at all. Maybe Adronis could help.
Once he was close enough to see that she was crying, he decided that she was indeed upset. But he didn't know what for, and he was unsure how to ask her. It was her small plea, one that wouldn't have been heard had he not snuck up on her, that caused him to break his silence. "Save you from what?" he asked, his tail twitching back and forth nervously. He was interrupting her after all, and he had no way of knowing what was upsetting her. The last thing he wanted to do was make her even more upset. "I'm sorry, I was just coming here for a drink of water. You weren't here a minute ago, and then you were. But I didn't mean to sneak up on you or anything." Except he kind of had been trying to sneak up on her. He just didn't want her to be upset about it.

"save you from what?" the voice behind her asked, she turned slowly tears still glistening from her eyes. how did this digimon even know she was here? How did he even hear her? Was he creeping on her this whole time? Did he overhear everything? Was he a spy of King's? What did he know about her? She began to rummage in her mind trying to figure out just who this was and why he was being so cautious. She looked him up and down as he stammered trying to explain he wasn't up to nothing and it was all pure coincidence. Pure coincidence my horrible disgusting body, she thought to herself not trusting the small digimon before her.
Well whomever this digimon was, she could play innocent damsel in distress, that should lower his guard as an assassin. Then if he was an assassin he wasn't a very good one, never approach the prey, ever. Maybe he was just a typical innocent digimon with that stupid cute face, then why so far out in the forest? Very few digimon dared explore past the protection of the village, it was all about fear and lies. she calculated the digimon's worth, he could help her learn more about the King. If he was working for the King then maybe she could learn if the King planned to murder her or not. Though how... how.. She knew nothing about this digimon and if he was truly an innocent passing by.
As she contemplated she kept on the side damsel distress female face... "It is nothing... Nothing at all.." she spoke looking away trying to play all innocent... As her treachery grew so did the light around her, as the data bent and changed around her making her different... When the change was complete she looked at her hands with wide eyes. All distress seeming to melt away from her. "What is this?" She stood up looking at her new form in shock, she had digivolved... How? Did she digivolved? She thought only King could evolve her... Yet this creature... Was not King... Did this mean? Oh... That Rat was going to pay for this.
She clinched her fists in anger, her face became distorted as more tears ran down. She decided it was time to play the one who played her. Time to make even this assassin betray his master. "I-I... Was lied to..." She sat back down on the ground pretending all the strength was removed from her. "He... lied to me... He betrayed me... That monster..." she stopped giving information about whom she was referring to, she merely started to cover her face up with her now human shaped hands as tears fell between the fingers.

Evidently, she hadn't been expecting anybody to come to her, which was a funny thing, given that she was at a pond. It was a water source for any wandering Digimon, and judging by the number that he now knew were out here, that meant there were quiet a few around. This made the fourth one that Adronis knew of, if he were to count himself. She was in great distress though, or at least seemed to be, and he had no idea what he could do to help her. Maybe there was nothing, but he honestly didn't believe that notion. While he may not have been meant to hear her, Adronis did hear the plea for help that the other Digimon had made. So why would she claim that it was nothing? Unless she, like Cynthia, knew not to always trust every other Digimon that came up to you acting like they were your friend.
"You can tell me," he said, his gaze soft and consoling, trying to get her to open up. But the light that was surrounding her, which he hadn't really noticed so much before, began to grow brighter. That was why he was finally beginning to see it. Using his tail in an effort to shield his vision from the blinding force, he closed his eyes until the brilliance seemed to be fading. Opening them again, he found an entirely different Digimon standing there. Or no, not a different Digimon. It was the same one, just digivolved into her next form, her rookie state. "Woah..." She was pretty, and angelic. That was the word that definitely went with her, though he wasn't entirely sure how he knew that. He just... knew. Much like the way he supposed Cynthia knew not every Digimon was honest about being your friend.
He didn't know why this other Digimon, whatever her name was, would become angry, but it seemed that that's what was happening now. She clenched her fists, and they seemed to shake, which caused Adronis to become really worried, more so for his safety than for anything else. Now she was stronger than him, much like the Wormmon earlier, but this time he was alone. Part of him wanted him to flee, to get away, but another part of him was unsure if there was any real need for concern yet. But he didn't have to decide for himself, as the reason for her anger began to become clear from her own words. She was mad at somebody, somebody who had lied to her and betrayed her.
"Who? Who lied to you?"Not that Adronis would even know who this being was. There weren't very many that Adronis knew, and even fewer by name. Wormmon hadn't given a more identifying name. So the only one he knew was Cynthia, and she was definitely not the "he" that this Digimon was speaking of. "You're okay. You digivolved and you're stronger. That's good, right?" Surely it was. Cynthia was looking forward to digivolving and growing strong, so he was sure that she could at least find some comfort in this. Plus she'd be able to get revenge... if that's what she wanted. "Do you need... help?" The real question that started it all. Later on, he would look back at this moment and realize how he had created his own path. Much later on.

She studied him longer as by this point false tears fell from her eyes, he would certainly have taken this time to make a quick strike blow if he was truly an assassin. He instead was offering help, this meant either he was the worst assassin out there or he was truly just a regular digimon. This got her mind ticking, he was obviously a fool, one that was willing nilly asking what was wrong and willing to offer help. He would be the best sort of King on the thrown, the one that wouldn't cause rebellion because well those worthy would love him. Though what would he change to? What would he digivolve to? Would it be ugly like her current "Master"? Would he turn out prettier? Considering what she was putting up with, she is willing to accept anything better than her current "Master". She shall make this pathetic creature her new king, whether he wanted to be or not. He will be the pawn on the strings for the puppeteer to control.
She should be proud she digivolved and to this marvelous perfectionist form. She did it all on her own, whatever strings her current Master held against her were not true, they were all lies. Lies that she was freed from, lies that will not be her own. "I.. I.." she spoke softly sounding feminine in the male's body. She looked up her blue eyes shining, tears glistening while falling. "I need your help to help free this world." she paused knowing this would confuse the digimon. What was wrong with this world? It was perfect and new, heck there was only a town and few places few dare venture to. What she was talking abot was freeing the world of ugly digimon, those fools that dared make a fool of her, those that make this world oh so ugly. It will be easy, just be nice to the digimon talk of an evil king rising, that this king should be stopped, and well... From there... Take in the digimon with no homes, make them feel homely and protected. give them a reason to be living, then if they turn to an ugly create.... Frame them, show their true evil colors... Digimon love shiny and pretty things, ALL OF THEM. The king himself would be manipulated to be such crimes were real and are worthy of lock-up, terrible jobs, or murder. She will search and find a way to cause memory lost on her victims, they will never see it coming.
"You see..." she looked back at the water as if pretending to be unsure of herself... How would she describe this? What was she hiding? Thousands other questions that she could be thinking or what he was thinking... "There is this digimon..." She looked back at him with eyes of pure innocence. "He made us believe that... he helped us digivolve and wanted to be friends..." she looked away once more as if scared to spit out the truth... Like to speak out about this monster would kill her on the spot. She began to cry again... As the tears fell, she went to pick up the yellow small digimon and rub her face on it as if to bury all her sadness.

There hadn't been a single thing said to him to make him feel like he was bound by somebody else's rules or expectations. Adronis believed that he was already free, able to do as he pleased, though he was bound by his own curiosity. He needed to find out how he came to be, and why, and so he felt that he had to go out and explore the world and try to seek out these answers. Eventually he would figure out his calling, he was sure of it. But even though he did feel this need, he was still a bit perplexed at this other Digimon's plea that he help her free this world. "Free? But there's nothing that's really... keeping things from going about whatever way they happen to go. So far, the only other Digimon I've met, or the one I travel with, lets me do as I please." Maybe it was that this Digimon herself was being forced to do things that she didn't want to do, by taking bad company. Probably the person that was lying to her, though she hadn't said yet who they were.
But finally it seemed that she was going to tell him all about this horrible person that had lied to her, saying that he was a Digimon who had made her, and apparently others, believe that he could help them digivolve. And that he wanted to be friends, but obviously she no longer felt that this was the truth as she cried. Still confused, not knowing who this Digimon even was, Adronis was about to ask until he was suddenly picked up, his body being used as a pillow for her to bury her face in. It was a little uncomfortable, but he didn't make any fuss about it, instead letting her wipe her tears on his small, fluffy body. "Well I don't know what you want me to do. I mean, I would love to help you, honest. You just digivolved though, and if you still feel the need for help in putting a stop to him... I'm not sure there's much I can do. Look at me! All I am is a little in-training Digimon still, and just recently digivolved into this." Adronis' voice trailed off as he began to think on that little tidbit for a moment.
It was very true that he had just digivolved to this form. And whoever this Digimon was, she had also just digivolved. Both of them were around someone else when it happened. Maybe it wasn't so far fetched that the other Digimon claimed to be able to help them digivolve. Adronis had digivolved next to Cynthia, who in turn digivolved herself. This Lucemon here, she also digivolved with Adronis nearby. "Could it be that maybe Digimon do help each other digivolve? My friend, she digivolved with me, and now you just digivolved with me right here too. Or is that just a coincidence?" He definitely didn't know for sure how it worked, but it seemed that being around a digimon, maybe with a certain emotional outburst caused the digivolution process to start.
"My name is Adronis. I don't know who this Digimon is, but if you really feel that he's lied about things... if he's made you feel like a bad Digimon..." That's how it seemed to Adronis anyways, given by the way she talked about him. She was very upset, or at least Adronis was believing this, much the way Cynthia had warned him not to with all others. He was believing every word she was feeding him, and her emotions were telling him that this other Digimon she was speaking of was a horrible thing. For all he knew, the other Digimon was hurting her and others, and had to be stopped. But if she needed help... was he much stronger than the rest of them? "I'll help you! Just tell me what you want me to do!"

She rubbed her face all over the digimon happy he didn't fight her grip, good he was even more of a push-over than she had thought. If this little guy is letting her wipe the ugly disgusting tears on him, then there was no telling what she could wipe on him. Even though she rubbed her face and made sounds of a crying digimon she was actually smiling. Her smile of course was buried in the back of his fur, but who cared? She was winning, was winning, oh so well.
She dropped the smile, pulled the digimon from her face, she looked at him long and hard tears still edging in her eyes. She spoke softly to the digimon, "You look like a hero to me". He talked more on how maybe it was coincidence that they were together, maybe it was some sort of destiny... Destiny... The word began to ring into her ears staring into his face. She had already decided he would be the new fool king, but to believe they were destined to be together, why that was icing on the top. "You are right, digimon together some how create digivolution. We are destined to intertwine." She stood suddenly tall, even began to flap her wings and rise to the sky with her sudden strong feelings. "Hello Adronis, my name is September. This Digimon is the new King of the Digital World, little know about him, but he grows in his army and friends." She paused as she rose higher enjoying breaking the edge of the trees. He shouted at her asking what he should do, she smiled down at the digimon in her arms, then as if a sister talking to a younger brother, "Work together, that is what I want us to do." She rose higher to the sky joyous at her new magnificent body and hands.
She began to change direction heading the opposite direction of the kingdom, toward a smaller part of the forest, a place with a clearing. She had spotted the clearing once before, but to find it in the skies... She felt her skin tingle at the new power and tremendous beauty she held. She shouted over the wind from their flying, "Adronis! I digivolved, to thank you, I want to help you get stronger! Then you and me can help bring the King down!" she wasn't quite sure he heard her, then how could he not with her perfect body and voice?
She began to descend spotting the clearing of grass, upon landing in the grass she sat the smaller weaker, and well uglier, digimon down. She looked around the clear a huge smile on her face, arms and hands on her hip in Peter pan style. "Okay where do we start!" she shouted to herself as if she was a new hopefully individual, an act of course, one she actually enjoyed. She walked over to the edge of the woods to find some sort of device or thing... Absolutely anything that could be used for him to attack, Digimon would have been great, but there was none and well he would have frowned on it. She found a large piece of wood, picked it up with her greater strength, flew back across the clearing where she left her new friend. "Attack this, I am sure both of us working together could get you to digivolve to stronger form."

How could you possibly believe that somebody was not looking out for your best interests when they were claiming that you appeared to be a hero to them. And it wasn't as if Adronis had never done anything to help somebody out of a very bad situation before. Just a mere few hours ago or so he had managed to help drive away a most despicable Wormmon, to keep his new friend, Cynthia, safe. As well as himself, of course. But that didn't detract from the noble thing that Adronis had felt he had done. Maybe if there was to be a Digimon that would rule over others, then it should be a very brave, noble Digimon like himself. Or was he being a fool, believing that that was him when he really hadn't done anything that great. If only Cynthia was here to help him think this out. She seemed to be so much wiser than him when it came to other Digimon and how they behaved with one another.
At the very thought that this Digimon also believed in digivolution being a construct of Digimon being together... could it be that Adronis was catching on? Was he already figuring out some of the answers to his questions? Her suggestion that they were meant to be intertwined intrigued him, causing him to now ask himself if his purpose was to be with this angelic Digimon. September, as she had called herself, which seemed to be a very pretty name. It definitely went well with how she appeared. "Then we will work together!" he piped up, almost amazed by this Digimon's great appearance and words.
Carried in the sky, Adronis looked down at the world below them, suddenly wondering how he was going to catch up with Cynthia now. He almost protested, but September's words made him pause, and he waited for her to finish before he said anything at all. It was easy to see why she wanted to help him get stronger, in order to have a better chance at ending this "King's" reign. But what kind of power did he even really have? Adronis had never heard of this King before, and surely Cynthia would have mentioned him if she knew of him. That made Adronis believe that this master wasn't much of anything at all. If nobody had heard of him then it was still very early in his position of power, and it shouldn't take too much to overthrow him, right? Surely others felt the same way as Cynthia did, and together they could easily change things. But what then? That was something else they had to consider. What would they all do after that? Go their separate ways? Put somebody else in power? Would this September take the position of authority that her group seemed to want, hopefully doing much better than this current King?
Put back down, he was about to ask about Cynthia when this time September flew off to go find something. Now alone for a brief moment, he frowned to himself, wondering why this angel seemed to intent on helping him now. It seemed fairly obvious to him, however. She wanted to get rid of her King, desperately so, and thus was quick to make things happen. But her solution, a large piece of wood, didn't really instill much confidence in him that they would be able to make him grow stronger. "Do you really think that this is going to work? I just digivolved into this form hours ago. To be honest, I'm more hungry than anything else, and I think I'd be more apt to digivolve if I ate. And possibly if there seemed to be some kind of imminent need for me to be stronger." He knew that he had digivolved last time for fear of being killed by that insect Wormmon.
"And I do have a friend. Her name is Cynthia, and I really think that we should talk to her and get her on our side too. She's fairly smart. Or at least seems to be. I think she'd be a huge help in bringing down the King and helping us to reorganize afterwards." To him, he was being incredibly helpful by suggesting another Digimon to bring into the mix of things. He wasn't lying about her seeming smart either, and he was fairly certain that she'd be a huge help in everything.
