"I wanna be...something."
MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | Bosss didn’t know why or how, but he felt…hot. It wasn’t due to the weather or anything else since today seemed to be pretty good to him. A scowl was on his face as he watched the scene unravel before him. A few other fresh digimon were playing around in the fields near the village as he simply watched from afar out of curiosity. Being one of the younger ones, he didn’t exactly know how to play or even attempt to ask to do such. One thing that seemed to be second nature to him was experiencing emotions. Emotions such as anger.
Anger, it sounded like such a mean word, but it fit the situation perfectly. As he watched the other digimon play, they seemed to leave another one of the digimon alone. He didn’t know why other than it made him really angry because they wouldn’t include them in their games. They were all the same, weren’t they? So why exclude him? Boss wouldn’t know why for a while, but for now, he didn’t like it, not one bit.
The fufumon floated over, eyes locked onto the group glaring before he let out a loud mix between a squeak and a bark.
“Hey! Why are you guys not letting him play with you?!”
The group seemed to stare at him as if he was mad. They all seemed to shrug before one of the fresh levels spoke up. “Because he’s too slow!”
At the mention of that, the other digimon seemed to nod in agreement. Boss stared over at them again and let out a snort.
“That’s stupid! Besides, you’re not even giving him a chance.”
“What do you care anyways, you didn’t even want to play with us.”
Boss seemed to stop at that. It’s true, he did refuse their offer to play, but…it didn’t mean they had to leave anyone else out. The thought seemed to ring clearly in his head, but he couldn’t seem to get the words out. The group seemed to wait for an answer but simply left and continued their game. Boss starred at the ground, grumbling and glancing back at the other digimon he attempted to defend. He shared a thanks, but it seemed the fufumon didn’t acknowledge it. He felt mad. He felt dumb for not being able to keep the pace going.
“Ugh…”
Why was he even helping him anyways? He didn’t know the other digimon. Hell, he didn’t even know himself since he was but a few days old, but something had compelled him to speak out on his defense even if nothing came of it. With another sigh, he simply floated in place there. Just being a few days old, this was incredibly complicated. He needed help.

A little white ball of fluff was picked up and carried by the wind that had blown in. She wasn't too upset by the separation, no she was enjoying the wind carrying her. "Wohoo!!" the little ball shouted excited by the feeling the wind seemed to give it.
The wind did a swirl bringing the little white fluff along with it enjoying the ride, she attempted to shout at the newly hatched digimon below, "Guys! Guys! You have to try this!" Nobody seemed to hear her... Though she really didn't care this adrenaline junkie just learned how great excitement of the extreme can be. The wind seemed to create a small tornado current bringing her higher up the sprout server tree, spinning her round and round. She shouted out with excitement wishing this moment could last forever, then the little small safe tornado broke apart dropping her straight to the ground. "WOOOOHOOO!!"
A wind caught her before she could land back on the ground and carried her up again, right smack into another digimon's face. "Hi there!" she shouted seemingly oblivious the the fact her fluffy puffy body was right in this orange digimon's face. The wind stopped, she fell gently to the ground. "Ahh man! You have to try this! So Freakin' Awesome! Dude! I like hatched... And WAM! Woosh! Wee! Haha!" she screamed as loud as her small body could scream, her smile pretty much taken over the fluffy body. She bounced up and down as if high on sugar, this was one truly adrenaline junkie Pafumon.

"I wanna be...something."
MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | The loud voice darting about soon shook Boss out of his self sulking. The fact that there was something flying through the air and darting about in his field of vision also seemed to get his attention for a few reasons. One of the reasons being that whoever or whatever was yelling was flying higher than he could get at the moment. He stared, cheeks puffing out of jealousy and attempted to pretend they weren’t there. Sadly, as his eyes were tightly closed shut, he couldn’t drown out the loud sounds the other digimon and grunted, eyes open.
“I can’t even get that high…” he pouted.
Before he could blink, the puffy digimon was right in his face, prompting him to reel back and fall right onto the grass with a yelp. He shook his head and righted himself, taking a better look at the puffball. Boss didn’t exactly recognize her aside from the fact that she was just a fellow baby, but something about her (maybe the hyper-ness) made him a bit rustled.
“Just hatched, huh? I…think I remember being like that?"
It was more of a question than a statement in his opinion. Memories were here and there since he hatched mixed along with a few other things he wasn’t exactly sure of were memories, more like things to be poked at in hopes something will happen to it. Regardless, something told him to stick around. Maybe it was the fact the Pafumon acted like him.
“If you just hatched, welcome then! Did ya have something sweet or are you gonna be like this forever?

"You remember? Like in December?" the creature shivered in excitement before bouncing up and down again. The wind seemed to have slowed and was not strong enough to carry the weightless fluffball away, then she really didn't want to fly away, this was too much fun. The larger creature of the two asked if she had something sweet, excitedly she replied,[b"Sweet?! What's sweet? Does it rhyme with Tweet? oh! how do you tweet?"
The puffball seemed to grown more hyper at meeting a new person. A few seconds more passed as she seemed to realize the second part of his statement, "Forever? And Ever?" she replied not quite grasping anything with her fluff empty brain. She bounced some more eyes darting around debating on trying to climb the server tree to jump off and catch some "waves".
"Meet ya Boss! Call me Boss! No! Call me Fluff! Oh! No my name is..." she paused thinking trying to read her own brain data to call up her name, Settona... Settona.. set-ton-a "Saturn! Like a Settona! Yeah that's my name! No wait.. Settona, Settona, maybe it is Settona? Why such a terrible name?" She bounced some more and fell to the ground, only to rise again, over and over. She couldn't completely control her weightlessness and well hyperness at once.

King waited for the most opportune time to appear. His targets were two small digimon that had clearly just been hatched recently. Perfect targets for his 'raise an army of darkness' plan. If they were brand new, they didn't have many preconceived notions of good and evil, so he would be able to manipulate them. He was currently hiding behind a nearby server tree. His heart had skipped a beat when the fluff ball had stared in his direction. It would have been rather boring if his plan had failed from the getgo. Luckily, King was amazing, so there was no chance of the plan failing. Shifting his expression from a self-indulging smile to an intimidating scowl, he hopped out from behind the tree. His body was larger than the two fresh digimon, so he would try to be scary. Hopping quickly, he approached the grey fluff ball and the yellow tear drop with a horn. "Hey, you two... Psssst... you young ones. You guys should come over here for a bit, I have something cool to tell you." Oddly, he had decided to try and entice them while still wearing the hideous scowl. Now that he thought about it for a moment, that probably wasn't a good idea.
Reacting quickly to his own blunder, he decided to change the tactic mid plan. Extending his grasping ears straight up, and bloating up his fat round body with, he made himself as large as he could. "Just kidding. You two get over here now. I have instructions for you. You guys are new right? You better hurry on over here, it's very important." King said it in as stern a tone as he could manage, without sounding too rude. He then began hopping back beyond the tree while checking over his shoulder to see if they were coming. When he got beyond the tree, he checked back towards the field to see if that pesky elecmon was nearby. Luckily he was pretty far away, so King then waited for the other two to catch up(if they came at all).

Somehow someway September was still following this bouncing digimon, the one whom she believed had evolved her for some odd reason. She and him hid behind the large server tree surrounded by all the new eggs, luckily for the both of them Elecmon was no where in sight. She had manged to convince her King to go after babies, to help raise them to follow their orders. Though she wasn't sure how well the plan would fallout, they would have to hide the babies in the wild or create a boss. The more she thought on it the more she realized the two of them hadn't exactly thought this one through.
She wondered which digimon they should big for their army, beautiful obviously, but which will be perfect? Before she could even make a suggestion her King was already bouncing over to two furball digimon. Annoyed by his quick actions she followed closely behind trying to put on as cute and innocent a face as she could. She would have to let him do the talking, mainly because of his high ego would prevent her from speaking. Heck he may even ditch her if she spoke up, and she needed the guy to digivolve. Without him she would still be stuck in her pathetic fresh form unable to get any where, just ugly as ever bouncing around.

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | This one was incredibly hyper, even more than most new hatchlings! Boss just kept on staring with a wide smile on his face as the pafumon just went off on several tangents in the span of a few seconds. He wondered where the hell she got that energy from, maybe she’d mellow out as the time passed. Apparently when he hatched, Boss was bouncing around all over the place and running his mouth off for at least a day or so. He just nodded and watched her go on and on and on.
At the mention of not having a name, she seemed to just parrot whatever he said, prompting him to pout a bit. That was his name! Well, not exactly his name, just something he called himself for whatever reason. It seemed to stick since he kept telling people to call him that instead of his actual name. Regardless, it still made him angry. Through the constant chattering, she seemed to have found a name for herself; Settona.
“Hmm, that sounds like a good name!”
And so she was Settona.
Soon after the agreement, someone else decided to confront the innocent duo.
He didn’t recognize the digimon in question since he was nothing but a grey blob with red, beady eyes. He looked at the two what looked like a scowl which made Boss raise a brow, that is if he had any.
“Something cool? Sure!”
He really didn’t have a reason not to trust the guy, seeing as how he guessed he was from the same village. And the promise of seeing something cool was rather enticing… Whether or not Settona followed, Boss simply floated alongside him out of sheer curiosity and even nodded his head to suggest that the pafumon come with. The grey blob hopped, looking around in various areas for a few moments until they reached a tree and continued past it. They were pretty far from the village, but Boss continued on anyways.
“Maybe I should head back…”
The little voice in his head offered up the option. The fufumon had little reason to not trust the other guy, so why did that come up? For now, he just decided to ignore it for now. Nothing could go wrong, right?
"So, what'd you wanna show?"

Pafumon bounced up and down excited he liked her name, that she wasn't even quite sure was even her name. She was about to play "bounce around the new friend" before another digimon showed up, one that was much much bigger than her. She bounced right up to him excitedly "Hi! Oh! Something Cool! I wanna see!" She bounced higher in even more excited body. Her new friend Boss seemed to have reacted faster than her and was already following where the purple thing was.
The Pafumon started to fall behind the group, she began to pout at her own slowness but quickly called on the wind to fly her right into Boss. She hung on to his fur happy for the little help he could provide her her tiny slow almost weightless body. "Boss! What do you think he wants to show us? Do you think it will be super cool!" she shouted in her small soft voice full of excitement at what she was about to do.

King couldn't help but feel giddy due to their responses. Not one, but both had followed. The bait was laid, and these foolish digimon were nipping at the hook with uncanny fervor. King suspected he would have them under his control within the hour, no, he knew he would have them under his control. His confidence was through the roof with the success of his actions so far, and now he just had to snare the two with a swift maneuver. "September, if you could follow behind the two, that would be spectacular. It would be a shame if they lost their way, so make sure you keep an eye on them." This was obviously not to prevent them from getting lost. It was much more sinister and tactical in nature. September following up from behind was to make sure they couldn't escape, not to prevent the dolts from getting lost. Even if they should mindlessly wander off, September would be there to keep them on track. This is assuming September did follow them, but he hoped she caught his meaning. With them hopefully flanked, King started hopping at a slightly increased pace.
"It's not too far now, it's actually in that cluster of trees we can see in that direction." King of course referred to the forest that he and September had met in. They were decently far off, but King suspected they wouldn't have to go the whole way. He just wanted to make sure they were out of ear shot from the Field of Beginnings. When they had gone a decent distance, still quite far from the forest, he paused in his movement. Turning around, he looked where he expected the rest of them, and spoke in a less rough manner than he had earlier. "Do you two know what an army is? It's a group of 'friends' who all travel together, having fun, and defeating people who disagree with them. Wouldn't it be great if we were all friends and could do whatever we wanted, while stopping people from doing what we don't want? We're all 'good' digimon, right? That must mean that people who do things we don't like are bad. Do you two want to join me in stopping the bad digimon? Doesn't that sound like a good thing? I think it does... That's why I want you two to join my army. We will be friends. Me and September will help you become strong digimon, and we shall enjoy this world to its fullest. Won't you join me?" His expression was quite honest as he pleaded with them, though his intentions were not. With his speech and questions asked, he awaited a response he hoped he would enjoy.

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | The two continued following their new acquaintance deeper into the area, the two fresh levels simply floating just trying to keep pace. Boss was a ball of curiosity, but Settona was a ball of it and hyper to boot. She flew about in some attempt to keep up before she decided that tumbling onto Boss’ body was the best course of action and clinging onto him. The fresh level didn’t weigh much, but the sudden motion almost caused him to topple over onto the ground!
“Be careful!”
He wasn’t intending to be mean, just to be careful. With no limbs, it was annoying to try and get back up after being knocked over. The group arrived at a small cluster of trees, the grey blob bouncing along with Boss and Settona flying after him. While they reached the aforementioned spot of ‘cool’, Boss couldn’t help but turn around. The more they kept traveling, the more the Field of Beginnings was leaving them. Boss had no problems with leaving the outskirts of their home, but why go this far? He’d been past this point and didn’t find anything out here. Maybe there was something he didn’t know? The voice telling him to go back rung even more in his head.
Once they reached the place, Boss got his answer. The blob was talking about things like joining an ‘army’, or whatever he called it. They would travel the digital world, get stronger, make some new friends and stop whatever bad digimon that came their way. As the blob spoke, Boss seemed completely entranced at the offer. A chance to leave this place, just not temporarily was incredibly tempting. All the signs pointed to yes, but Boss couldn’t help be a bit apprehensive. That same thing in his mind that just kept on nagging at him was telling him to be careful about this. He couldn’t tell what it exactly was, it was almost like someone over his shoulder (that wasn’t Settona) giving him advice except it was in his head.
Once the blob finished talking, Boss turned his head around again. Who the heck was September, were they here? He blinked for a few moments and shook his head.
“Well, it sounds good to me. Kinda wanna get out of this place anyways.” Boss opened up. He didn’t know what Settona would say (though he figured a yes was just as possible), but for now, he’d see what happen. “Alright, I’ll come with!”

September couldn't believe how easy it was to get them to follow, she could not help but turning to face the trees and snickering just a little. The more she thought of it the more she realized just like any of the digimons these guys were just silly and dumb, probably with no dreams of ambitions. At least they both had beauty, but it was just so sad that not all digimon will be as beautiful as her. King quickly asked her to go behind the group and make sure they did not get "lost", she caught what he meant and quickly had herself get behind the two digimon.By the time she made it back there the little puffball thing was clinging to the the bigger furball, what was it some sort of weakling? There was no room for weaklings, then the creature had beauty, not as good as hers of course, but acceptable.
They made it closer and closer to the forest, she began to sense anxiety growing, she hoped the King would stop already, if they kept on going there would be a battle. King stopped and turned around almost as if reading her mind, then he began to tell his long tale of how an army were all friends. She once more felt something tug at her, how could the stupid ugly slimeball be the same thing that was standing before her now? The difference... It scared her, was she truly in control of this relationship? Not that the two had been working together for long, it would be best to keep her composure, if she lost it now she would be terribly ugly. The slimeball finished, September kept a calm as she could composure, waiting... waiting for the attack, granted that both were fresh and they were both were well stronger and faster, but if it meant battling... She rather not get herself dirty.
The furball digimon agreed, well that was easy, no fear here. Just a matter of getting the little puffball, whatever that thing was clinging to the furball like a coward, to agree. September stay quiet longer, but smiled in joy at their new "friends". She figured it would be wise to say something now, but then why ruin the King's moment?

She didn't mean to almost topple boss to the ground, "Soewry..." she mumbled her mouth full of hair. They went further and further from the field, she felt her body shaking in excitement, almost like a little vibrator on your shoulder. She didn't speak, then she really didn't know what to say, they were going some place else... Someplace else, Someplace else, how could she not be giddy in this moment? She felt as if her whole body might explode with happiness. She imagined all sorts of awesome things they would do, jumping off trees, jumping off trees, oh and jumping off trees. She wondered if the "cool" thing was somehow this super omega tree that grabbed you and threw you higher up, up.
Deeper and deeper into the forest... Settona felt her heart pound faster and faster, what will happen? She thought of more and more things she believed to be pretty cool. Though eery few seconds her mind fluttered to the main important question, "What is this awesome cool thing?" She clung on to his fur and almost became so excited, she had to rub her face to prevent the temptation to use wind and get ahead of the group and maybe even lost. Eventually everyone stopped, she peered around trying to look for the cool thing. All she saw were trees, lots and lots of trees, her mind started to lie to her saying the trees were some new cool thing she had to try out. Then the digimon leading them spoke, oh he was such a bore, skip all the boring into and get to the cool stuff. He spoke of things that made no sense to her, all she got was he wanted to be friends. What was friends? Ahh who cares, where's the digimon grabbing tree?
She didn't really understand why Boss seemed to be soo slow, she didn't really wanna speak, she didn't even know or care about whoever these "friends" or "army" were, just show her that tree. Maybe she could grab onto a branch from that tree and it would be magical, who maybe even give her the power to speed up the wind, that would be so AWESOME. Boss agreed to whatever "friends" or "army" they were talking about. So full of her own lies and excitement she bounced off Boss's Shoulder, jumped to the one who led them there, gave him as big of scary glare as she could. Then she suddenly turned happy and shouted, "Yea! Yea! I join the "army". Now where's that AWESOME DIGIMON GRABBING EVIL TREE CREATURE! I want to fly! Soar! Touch the sky!" She bounced up and down excitement of this imaginary thing she made up.

King was astounded at the success of his little scheme. Not one, but both had agreed to his plan. Sort of. The yellow one agreed, which was perfect. The fuzzier small one was a bit strange though. It had bounced in his face like a lunatic, then quickly accepted the offer while continuing on about a... throwing tree? King didn't know what this digimon grabbing tree monster was, but it didn't matter. He could care less about some silly tree. He had succeeded. He now had soldiers in his dark army. His dark army. It was his and his alone, well, September could share it, but it was mainly his. His smile was beaming, and he stared at his two new acquaintances with joy in his eyes. He was imagining all the grunt work he could make them do, and the chaos they would cause together. It made him positively blissful. "I'm so very happy that you two have joined me." The way he enunciated the 'me' in his statement held a sinister undertone, but he was able to mask it slightly. It simply sounded like he was quite enthused with himself.
Turning to the hyper fuzzball, he tried to respond to the question it had asked. "The ummm... the tossing tree is pretty far away. You might have to evolve before we go there because it can be dangerous that far from town. Travel with us for awhile, and you're sure to get strong enough." He could tell this one would be a handful. His decision was to entice it with promising words, while remaining vague enough that he wouldn't be lying. Using his ear-hands, he gave Settona a reassuring pat on the back, then he hopped over to September. "So, we did it. We got some 'friends' for our army. Do we want more? Or should we go find a place for us to stay. Every King needs a kingdom, so to speak, and I reallllly want one." He was still talking in kinder terms because he didn't want the young ones to hear, but he was fairly certain September would understand his desires. She was his 'disciple' after all.

MADE BY ★MEULK OF GS | As soon as the acceptations were accounted for, Settona was off like a bomb, yelling and screaming from pure excitement at having a few friends. Boss couldn’t help but grin and laugh alongside her once everyone was accounted for. The grey blob seemed just as ecstatic for them to be joining him and his little army. The word did sound a bit weird though. Couldn’t we just be traveling friends? While Boss was experiencing some doubt, it was pushed into the back of his still developing mind for now when the blob mentioned something that caught his attention; evolution.
The apparent tossing tree or whatever Settona mentioned was quite a far way away, way past the village of beginnings. For them to keep going, the two were going to have to evolve and get stronger. Boss took a look at himself, then the Pafumon and nodded. Yeah, having two babies on you while traveling was going to be a problem, he figured. But how were they going to do that? The grey blob hopped off towards someone else who’d been in the area (he guessed that was September), leaving the two to their devices. He wondered what they were talking about, but figured it wasn’t any of his business if they were going to be so far away.
“Hmm, how the heck would I evolve…” he muttered to himself.
He knew that digimon got stronger as time went by or if they fought judging by what some of the others, Elecmon included told him. Fighting was clearly out of the question seeing as he could barely defend himself, let alone try fighting any evil digimon. The thought of being useless made him feel that familiar heat from before, but of a much…higher intensity? Settona would probably be able to feel the heat rolling off on him as his mind was in a incessant pattern of annoyance. The idea of just being on the sidelines for any amount of time seemed to set something off in the depths of Boss’s mind. He scowled deeply, cheeks puffed up slightly as he just floated there, the heat rising up and up and up until it finally came out, but in a way he hadn’t expected.
His data felt like it was almost boiling hot, the strands traveling and unraveling from his already small body in the quickest of motions. Boss closed his eyes, teeth gritting as his mind kept feeding the emotion. He had to get stronger, he had to get stronger again, he couldn’t just sit around and do nothing! The quick flash of a small dragon flashed before the Fufumon’s eyes as the strands of data spun around, enveloping him in a white light for a few moments, the light dying as quick as it came. When the light died down, a slightly larger, serpentine dragon was replaced with the slimeball with a horn from before.
“Nng, huh?”
The heat began to dissipate, as did the excess data as it flowed back into his body. Boss looked around and blinked, bright green eyes scanning the area, then bringing up the small limbs. Wait, limbs? Boss looked down at himself, the In-training sporting a much bigger body than before, adorned with scales and spikes.
“…Well, that happened.” As casual as the statement was, Boss was grinning from side to side.

No tree? No tree today? The puffball looked down on the dirty ground all depressed, when the digimon that led them here pat her on the back. When the other two digimon began to wonder off, she turned to Boss. What were they to do now? No Digimon tree grabbing monster, no cool thing. What was there to do? She wanted to have fun, like falling fun. Just something exciting, anything exciting...
Boss mumbled something under his breath, she heard not a word of. "What was that!" she shouted loudly, but he paused suddenly started to brighten up. What was happening to him? It looked fun, super fun, she bounced to get a closer look all wide eyed. The light began to vanish and a new cooler create stood before her. "Woah! Who are you! Did you eat Boss?! Hi! My name is... Boss! How are you! I am Good too, man you are so cool, can I lick you? I can? Sweet!" if Boss had said a word, she did not hear a single one... She went to lick him in the face.
