Xanthidus

PERSONALITY

Xanthidus is a fun-loving 'mon who's out to have a good time, explore and learn, and make friends. And perhaps mess with those friends whenever possible. Or even just random people. Xanthidus defines himself by his sense of humor, even if he's the only one who finds himself funny. As long as he's laughing, he's happy. It's not that he has anything against other people, it's more that he won't notice if nobody else is entertained.

And he's certainly cocky, despite being not only very young, but also inexperienced on top of that. He has a tendency to stick his neck out even if he might not necessarily have the capability to back up his words. But that's how he lives, always moving forward, and always getting whatever enjoyment he can out of any situation. He would rather push himself too hard than not push himself hard enough and let himself become stagnant.

Xanthidus hasn't really taken the time to think about life enough to have any sort of goals or dreams in mind. He wants to get more capable, more powerful, and (in the immediate) at least Digivolve to his Rookie form. He wants to explore and to make friends, and, more importantly, make everyone love him; he's honestly more concerned with whether or not folks like him than with finding real, true friendship. He isn't aware of that, of course. He has no idea how starved for attention he is.

All in all, Xanthidus is a nice, well-intentioned Digimon who just wants to surround himself with adoring fans. Is that so wrong?

HISTORY

Xanthidus has spent the vast majority of his life as an Egg. In fact, basically the entire thing. His history has involved getting used to living in such a wide open space. Gosh, it's nice out here! Time to make friends.
