PERSONALITY

The digital monster going by the name of Freya is a somewhat contradictive individual and could therefore be considered a walking enigma. Encountering the female for the first time one is usually greeted by a comfortable, energetic smile hinting at an extroverted attitude and kind nature. While this first impression seems to be confirmed by her rather obvious concern about the well-being of those around her, there in fact is more to the young Digimon than meets the eye on first sight. Even though her behavior may emit an air of confidence, the innocent creature actually is an insecure being that has a tough time dealing with the fears and doubts gnawing at her heart. Despite generally being afraid of making mistakes and lacking confidence in her own abilities, the soft-hearted digital monster still tries her best to help others.

Her kind and pure heart also is what turns the usually thoughtful and smart Digimon into a naïve and even gullible creature that blindly trusts whoever seems to be well-disposed towards her, expecting them to be just as honest and reliable as she is herself. Experiencing what is known as 'betrayal' she usually starts blaming herself for having made a mistake before finally realizing that she has been simply used. Falling victim to such behavior she will develop an animosity towards the individual in question instead of a certain group of beings, which makes her prone to suffering the same fate more than just a single time. Having developed such an animosity it, however, requires a lot of effort to once again gain her trust and calm her anger. Having a fondness for adventures, even though they admittedly somewhat scare her due to her self-doubts, she enjoys exploring new places and learning more about this oh so new world.

Aside from being an adventurous soul, the young creature also has a sweet tooth, just like many other digital monsters roaming the world.

HISTORY

It all began with the comfortable, yet insular warmth inside the borders of a small Digiegg. Engulfed in darkness Freya's consciousness came into existence. Despite generally being happy within the protective walls of her egg, the young creature kept missing something she, however, wasn't able to denominate. Spending quite some time shrouded in a veil of silence that was filled with thoughts, something new suddenly reached her mind. Voices suddenly began to resound from the other side of her shelter, immediately awakening the Digimon's curiosity, telling her that the thing she was missing and longing for this entire time awaited her beyond this pitch-black space. Driven by the urge to fill the gap inside Freya kept pushing against the walls of her little egg, attempting to make it past the protective barrier dividing her from the rest of the world.

Despite mobilizing every ounce of strength residing within her small frame, the young Digimon failed to completely break the shell that kept her imprisoned. Even though small cracks had begun to spread all over the egg's surface, the same refused to finally cave in. Soft, innocent rays of light had started to pierce through the dense veil of darkness engulfing the small creature's body, but the shell remained intact. Desperately longing to break free from what she now considered a prison Freya kept trying her best, but her efforts were for naught until the inside of her egg was suddenly flooded with bright light. Being blinded by the incoming rays Freya was forced to close her eyes for a moment of two. Opening the same, she was greeted by a friendly Digimon holding parts of her eggshell within its hands. This act of kindness had welcomed her to a new world that waited for her to explore it.
