Important DEGENERATION & DEATH | Your digimon can be knocked back into Fresh form if they are are overpowered in battle or store their data in another place. If a digimon loses a death battle they dissipate to binary computer bits and are transported back to the Village of Origins to start over as an egg; they will have lost their Codes and Bursts.
DIGIMON LINES | A Digimon line has to follow the proper order from Fresh to Mega ; evolution levels can't be skipped or re-arranged . The line should preferably follow a "theme" ; but we won't allow lines that seem too outlandish - fire digimon shouldn't be digivolving into water digimon. A digimon's line does not have to follow the DMA wiki. Spirit evolutions and armored digimon are not permitted at this time. Jogress digimon aren't allowed in a line. X-Antibody evolutions are only permitted to digimon who have the X-Antibody, but there may be shop requirements to use them.
Digimon can only follow the digimon line you have assigned for them. To digivolve to something else, they have to lose all their data and be reset back to Fresh form. Then, a new line can be chosen. Your digimon egg must always hatch into the same Fresh digimon , unless a certain item is purchased.

Common Lines FRESH | | Every new digimon character will start in Fresh form. The first month of the site all new or reborn characters have no memories; after that they can have memories and history. Digimon that died and were reset to an egg take one IC post in order to hatch to fresh. |
IN-TRAINING | | A Fresh digimon takes three IC posts to digivolve to In-Training. Even if they have been knocked back into Fresh, it takes three IC posts. |
ROOKIE | | For a digimon to digivolve to Rookie, it takes a full thread with at least 5 posts from your digimon character. |
CHAMPION | | For a digimon to attain Champion form, they need a Champion Fractal Code. Sometimes they are event prizes. It can also be obtained by defeating another Digimon at Champion level, causing the Code to appear as an item that can be picked up and taken. It would be wise to team up with other digimon characters to do so. |
ULTIMATE | | In order for a digimon to attain Ultimate form, they need an Ultimate Fractal Code. Sometimes these are given as event prizes. It can also be obtained by defeating another digimon at the Ultimate level and stealing their Code. It would be wise to team up. |
MEGA | | In order for a digimon to attain Mega form, they need a Mega Fractal Code. They can obtain one via event prize or defeating a digimon at Mega level and stealing theirs. |
MEGA GOD/BURST | | For a digimon to digivolve beyond Mega, they need a Data Burst. These are rare items. When any Mega God (aka Burst) digimon is defeated, their Data Burst disintegrates - it cannot be used again, picked up, stolen, it is gone. |
